Nickie's eyes would widen, and her legs locked. Only movement she made was an occaisional blink, or her heaving chest. She was opened jawed, trying to hide her obvious dry mouth. "Oh oh oh..." she was finaly able to place a paw to her stomach. "I dfeel so sick," she didn't look too good either, lightly panting, trying to get her mouth wet once more, and tryign to calm down above it all.

Nickie put her head down, letting herself lean against her mate. He had guessed, and he...he wasn't ready?! After he told her he wanted to have a family!! Tears started to swell in her eyes, and a hollow grin came over her face. Still restraining the urge to throw up. "You-you guessed it...d*mmit..." she felt like bawling there and then, but tried so hard to be strong. "....I'm pregnant."

Nickie's grinned quickly left, her ears lowerin slowly. He didn't want them now? It was her fault, everyone had told her to leave him before it got too deep. Too late! her mind yelled loud and clear. Her bloated belly kicked, and the paw that was pressed there, gently rubbed. "Choose what you're going to do." she said finally, looking up with a sickly smile. "If..if you don't want them, I could always give them away, soon as possible...They'd never know and you wouldn't have any guilt..." those tears still gleamed in Nickie's eyes.

Nickie's eyes widened with every word Steele said, tears falling down from overflowing eyes. Was he really sayign this? Or was Nickie dreaming? A stinging cut on her hind leg told her she wasn't. Silently sobbing, she rested her head against steele, starting to let her emotion take over. "O-Oh..." she was bawling by now, keeping her body close to his.
Nickie's paw left and grabbed one of Steele's gently, placing it on her kicking belly. "These, these are yours love, and mine...Do you feel it? One whole baby, just waiting."

Nickie smiled back, gently wiping her eyes. She was as moved as he was. She had become overworked for nothing...well, almsot nothing. She loved him, and he loved her. They'd love their pups, no matter what. A soft giggle came from her, and she laid her head on his shoulder. "Yes, e have to raise them, love." she looked up into his strong icy blue eyes.

Nickie nodded, enjoying the licking Steele was giving her. "A bit, but it was because of you...condition.." her voice was in a hushed tone, ears pinning back slowly.

Nickie smiled, nuzzling Steele lovingly as she rested against his strong mass. She could feel his muscle, his coiled strength. While she was going to have to go through...childbirth. God, was her tiny body strong enough? "Steele," she said gently. "Will...will you be there for me, when I'm giving birth to our pups?" she asked this seriously, staring up at him.

"And I love you," said Nickie, looking up at Steele through the caring eyes of a mate. Steele, the year old pup shehad first met was now such a handsome dog. Her idol was now her mate and Father to her unborn litter of pups. She cringed a moment at a few bruises on her pregnant belly.
