Rayne looked at the two mysterious wolves from behind the bushes by the stream.They could hear her??These wolves must be very sensitive to sound and energy for no other wolf had ever sensed her prescence...Not even Akelah
She had been waiting for Akelah for two days now, he had gone of for food and hadn't returned.Hopefully he was okay,from the look of the two new wolves there were hunters around,she could still smell the faint stench of human coming off their fur.
Should she speak to them?If she could get some information...Maybe they had seen Akelah.
Rayne slowly emerged from the bushes still uncertain if this was the right choice.

Akelah ran thru the forest looking for Rayne. His tounge lolled out, as he stretched his legs. He stopped running when he caught the scent of the 2 other wolves and rayne. He pointed his nose to the sky and howled for Rayne.

As Rayne slowly and cautiously approached the two wolves she stopped dead in her tracks.She heard that one sweet howl she had been waiting for for two days now,it was Akelah!!She quickly turned around noticing too late the sound her paws had made on the dried leaves.The two wolves had already turned towards her.

Okami looked up at the new wolf, just as Akelah came into view. He growled lightly, telling her to not harm Rayne. Okami looked up at him and cocked her head.

((Hmm hey rayne pm kodi to see were she at?))

For a moment,Rayne remained speechless staring straight at the strange she-wolf and Akelah.After a few moments of realization she ran to Akelah "Oh Akelah!Where have you been?Ive been sooo woried"Akelah licked Rayne's muzzle"Rayne don't worry,I'm here now".After a few moments happiness Rayne and Akelah turned around to face the two wolves."Well..."Rayne spoke to them still a little unsure if they were to be trusted."I guess you now know our names,so who might you be??"

Okami watched Rayne silently then shifted a glance twoards Orion, in an asking way as if to make sure it was okay.

Akelah stood by Rayne's side, watching the other wolves moves. He didn't like the male, much.

Orion glanced back at Okami. He glared into the male's eyes. "I'm Orion. This is my frind Okami, she's staying with some friends of hers. Aroura's away at the moment." Orion felt a tiny twinge of fear at the thought of not knowing where Aroura was... and yet they were playing this little cover-up game. He looked around exasperatedly. And now, these other two wolves had appeared in his cave. He looked the male over again. "How do you come to be here?"

Akelah stepped in front of Rayne and turned a stubborn glare to Orion."We where just passing by"Akelah didnt trust the male,he just wasn't sure,but there was something definetly different about him.

((he can sense the difference in spiritual energy from normal wolves,he's just not aware of it))

Rayne looked over Akelah and peered at the wolves."Well it's nice to meet you Okami and Orion.Sorry to come barging in like this"Rayne still wouldn't ask the question that was on her mind,at least not until Akelah cooled down a bit.

Orion nodded. This Akelah seemed just as - if not more so - stubborn as he. Orion nodded toward the cave entrance. "Off with you, then. Oh," he added, "And wheilst you're on your way, keep your ears open. There're plenty of ambushers out there. And nnot the kind you may think And hunters. There were some," his ears flicked, "Out there. Not too long ago." He had a sudden, dreadfull thought of what may have become of Aroura.

Akelah gazed at Orion then gently nudged Rayne out of the cave. When they were out of hearing distance, Okami looked over at Orion. "I wonder what was wrong with that male Akelah"?

"Akelah,what's wrong?"RAyne knew better than to tell him about Okami and Orion's excellent sense of hearing.Akelah just shook his head"Nothing,Come on we have to go look for shelter"Akelah walked by Rayne,wondering what that strange feeling was.

Orion looked at Okami, ears slightly down. "You know," he began uneasily, looking at the dark sky. The air and atmosphere felt heavy and damp. "I feel a bit bad about sending them away... it looks as if it might our. Rains around here can be nasty." He turned away. "Still, though. They could be a danger to us. Like the hunters, or like the wolves who stalk unsuspecting passerby, and then force them into telling where their pack resides. Nothing good comes from that." He shook his head. "And where is that Aroura? Do you know where she is? She can't be alone - it's very dangerous out there, and she's a fool to wander off alone."

Okami nodded in agreement. "Yea it's very dangerous"

The light drizzle was quickly becoming a full-blown storm."Rayne!We have to get out of here before it gets any worse." Rayne felt revitalized by the falling water and looked around calmly for shelter"Akelah,don't worry.If this storm gets too dangerous,I'll feel it" Rayne didn't want to tell Akelah that the atmospheric pressure was changing much too drastically and their only hope might me Orion's cave.Rayne looked back at the worried Akelah and started looking around a little more urgently.
