Okay, I know it's been a while since my last rantage, but this is really grinding my gears.

Aleu/Alue = Who the heck cares?

Seriously, this is getting beyond insane.

Does anyone know how many people ask how Aleu's name is spelled? Lots. Many times. And most of these people ask the same question: Where did Aleu's name come from?

For (hopefully) the last time: Her name is spelled A-L-E-U, and she is named for a band of volcanic Alaskan islands called the Aleutian Islands (also called just the Aleutians, for short).

Please get it right, people. And stop asking about it. Your newbie redundency is getting us annoyed.

And since we're in the topic of names, the whole thing about "What is Kodi's name for?" and such is just as annoying. He's named for the "Kodiak Islands", I do believe, . . . or maybe for the Kodiak Bear? (a common bear in the Alaskan area) All we really know is that Kodi is short for Kodiak, so leave it alone, okay?

Let's not get into the other characters, okay? Especially the unknown pups known as Dingo and Saba. Why the heck would they name a pup Dingo (after the Aussie wild dog that somehow resembles a wolf - perhaps it may be a slight hint of his wild father's heritage being passed down to him?) and another Saba (which I have no idea what it means - I've seen it used in a book about an African princess named Saba, though.)?

Meh. I'll leave that for you to decide.

So, discussion anyone? (and ignore the previous rantage. I don't want this to get locked, okay? Long story short.)

I doubt this has anything to do with how Saba was named, but "saba" is Japanese for mackerel sushi The names Dingo and Saba are stupid anyway (i personally change them) But yes! I'm getting sick of people not knowing this crap. It obviously says ON THE MOVIE COVER that its "ALEU" and not "ALUE." What drives me even MORE crazy is when people have to make an argument out of an unknown pup's name. For instance, "THAT PUP'S NAME IS DAKOTA!!! GET IT RIGHT!!!" No. It has no name. HELLO? Its called a FAN CHARACTER, Sherlock

I agree, it bothers me too.

You can't even notice them when the movies running. So whats the point in sharing it? Its just a tiny mistake, but people make fun of it.
