He glanced at the clock on the dash before yawning "8:30" he yawned.

Brandy nodded, "I have work in a couple'a'hours." Brandy mused. She snatched her shirt and wiggled into it. Then her pants.

"I'll drive you, I have to get to training... Do I need to take you home or anything first?" He yawned, pulling on his shirt.

"Yeah, I need to shower." Brandy noted. She crawled to the front seat and snuggled in.

Nick smiled and got upfront, starting the truck and pulling off with a growl.

Once at the house, Brandy slipped on her jacket and turned to Nick.
"Stop by the cafe every now and again, ya hear?" she ordered, giving him a wink.

Nick smirked "A chance at seeing you like I did last night? Oh I wouldn't miss it for the world." He replied charmingly.

Brandy clicked her tongue then bound out, skipping to her house and quickly opening the door. She waged once then shut herself inside.

Awhile later...

Nick hadn't been seen in nearly a month. It snowed hard outside as night ate away ate the day. The door, slowly opened and Nick appeared, he was using crutches, a bruise that had seemed to been faded for awhile shone still under his eye. And it was apparant that at one time, his lip had been busted. He limped slowly in remaining silent.

Brandy stood at the counter, her hip popped out, her expression bored and tired. Life had gotten so dull since Nick left. She hadn't smile, or laughed, since he'd left. Brandy had been kicking herself for thinking he was different. He was just like everyone else, everyone always left. She tried moving on, dating others, but they were all annoying and egotistical.
Brandy looked up from the counter as the door opened. There was hardly anyone in the store, only a few drunks as always. At first he was hard to see, silloutted against the blackness of the night. But then Brandy recognized him, her eyes slowly lit up.
"Nick?" she wondered, looking at him with a shocked expression.

Nick looked up slowly at her, his blue eyes lit up and he smiled brightly. He had truely missed her, and being away from her for so long had nearly killed him. "Hey...Flicka.." he smiled slowly, a broad grin on his face.

"What-...What happened to you?" Brandy asked softly, her deep brown eyes looking very him over and over. He was beat up, like a Pitbull fresh from the fights. And Brandy didn't like seeing him like that one bit. She rushed out from behind the counter, assembling by his side as taking his hand thoughtfully. She took a closer look at him, calculating what couldve happened to him.

He gave a small sigh "It was a training accident.." he murrmured, then smiling when she came over. He was so happy to see her again, to be that close to her again. The "training accideant" had occured when a smoke grenade clogged and exploded, it was a small burst, but Nick had been close enough for it to fracture his foot a bust him up.

Brandy knit her eye brows, her eyes softening. She lead him to a booth and patted his shoulder gently.
"Here, sit. I'll get you some coco." she said, jogging over behind the counter and popping out the hot drink. Whipped cream managed to splatter her face again, but she didnt care. Brady carefully walked back over to Nick, sliding in the booth next to him and setting the drink down in front of him.

Nick looked at his drink and smiled gently. Looking over at her when she slid in next to him. He smiled and wrapped his arm around her shoulders "Miss me?" He asked grinning.
