The rest of the night, Scotty didn't have much to say, much to everyone's surprise. They arrived home and where greeted by Rusty, who was trying to attack an ornament on the tree.

"Rusty! Leave the ornaments alone kitty!" Sydney hummed.

The Solo Hero · **Posted:** Wed Dec 28, 2011 5:08 pm

Rusty turned to look at her, still pawing casually at the ornament. Maybe if he looked at them they wouldn't notice he attacked the ornament. Suddenly one of the presents, a brown box with holes in the side, moved. Well it jolted and moved a few centimeters. Rusty yowled with panic and darted back behind Sydney's legs, glaring at the box intently.

Sydney jumped as well, picking Rusty upo lovingly.
"Scotty...what did you buy?" She asked cautiously.

"It wasn't-" he cut off and glared at Adam who grinned sheepishly. "What's in the box?" Scotty demanded. The box moved again, this time falling over, the lid came off and out tumbled a small puppy with a little bow tied around it's neck. Sydney gasped and knelt down, letting the puppy run to her.
"Aww!" She sang, petting him lovingly, "He's so cute!"

The puppy looked up at Sydney and wagged his small tail. Rusty looked around Sydney at the dog curiously.

Sydney scooped up the puppy and pointed at Rusty.
"You better get along with him puppy!" She chimed. "Who's he from?"

The Solo Hero · **Posted:** Wed Dec 28, 2011 8:45 pm

"I got him." Adam smiled, "Well my Sis found him and lemme have him."

Egg · **Posted:** Wed Dec 28, 2011 8:46 pm

"Aww...wait well then why's he under our tree Adam..?" Sydney asked bluntly.

The Solo Hero · **Posted:** Wed Dec 28, 2011 9:03 pm

"He's yours..." Adam replied shyly "I remembered you said you wanted a puppy... So I asked my sister and one of her collage buddies had some." he explained.

The puppy barked.

Sydney brightened, and jumped up and pulled Adam into a tight hug.
"Thank you so much I love him!" She cried, smiling at her boyfriend.

Adam smiled softly and returned the hug. "I'm glad ya like him!"
