Kat ordered a coke and sipped it slowly, her head still resting on Ian's shoulder, their hands still clasped together. She hadn't really slept for 36 hours, and she was dead tired. Kat felt her eye lids getting heavy as he listened to Ian's steady breathing. She yawned hugely and finally gave in to sleep. She had only one dream:

Kat waS sitting under the old oak tree that her and Ian used to climb. She sat at the base, she knees tucked to her chest. The lush scent of grass and rain filled the air, and the cool Shade made Kat shiveR with delight. Kat heard the sounds of footsteps and looked around for the cause of these steps. She looked up too see Ian, a lit cigarett smoldering between his fingers. Kat shot a smile and said hi, but he dropped to his knees and started drilling the cigarett into her throat. Kat screamed in agony, but he dug it deeper and deeper, the smell of burning flesh filled her lungs. Ian pulled back and whacked her across the face. Kat fell sideways and slapped a hand on he neck.

Ian jumped when she fell over, and looked at her worriedly.
"You okay?"

Kat blinked awake, realizing she had actually fallen. She shivered and got back in her seat, he hand still in her neck.
"Uhh...yeah...bad dream..." Kat shivered, trying to calm herself.

Ian frowned.
"Tell me?" He asked, though it was almost a demand.

Kay licked her dry lips and shook her head, she couldn't tell him.
"Nothing... I-I don't remember..." she lied.

Ian frowned. "Are you sure?" He asked, pulling
Herbagainsthim.

Nodded, the smell of burning flesh edging away from her memory. She hoped she was still a good liar. She snuggled deeper into his chest, hoping the dream would never be real.

Ian picked up his unfinished roll, and bit into it.

Kat shivered, the dream was all to real, the searing pain, everything. Kat coughed a little, and the train pulled into the station.
"This our stop?" Kay asked.

"Mm? Ah, yes." Ian replied, unloading their things and packing them into a cab. He gave the driver his adress, and they were off.

Kay sat in the cab, twidiling with her fingers and looking out the window. She leaned into Ian and friwne in the darkness. She couldn't shake that dream. And the fact that Arthur told her she was in too deep. Ian was like heroine for her. He was addictive, bad, and deadly. Kat knew this all too well, but she was hoplessly addicted to him. Her frown deepened and she took a deep breath.

Ian's house wasn't as large as Arthur's it was a small three bedroom cottage, one and a half baths, and a backporch with glass walls. He paid the cab driver, and walked up to his door, unlocking it and walking in.

The cottage was unchanged, same walls, same plants, same everything. Kat counted her foot steps, thenstopped at the door. She lookedbin and sighed, this was it, she'd be Ian's s soon as she ntered the house. She shut her eyes tightly and stepped in, hat sealed it then, she was in his house. Kat walked over and set her bag down on the table and sighed. She stretched hugely and yawned.

Ian turned and smiled at Riley.
"You tired? Because my room ornone of the guests is open. Have some business to do, so I'll be a bit."

Kay frowned and looked at him "Buisness? What do you work as, anyways?" kat hummed, pulling out some pajama's from her suitcase.
