Eleriss eyed Blitz with concern. "I see..." she said, her mind already formulating a plan. She did understand what Blitz meant by details - and indeed, she had caught a whiff of what was going on. She had all the proof she needed now, but looking at Blitz and hearing her reasoning... Eleriss spent some time watching the other one, watching her every movement.
"You do realize what you are getting yourself into, do you?" she finally asked. Her voice had a serious tone to it now. "There is no way for you to leave town without causing fuzz - they would notice quickly. Once we leave, we ain't coming back soon, that's for sure."
She glanced skywards.
"And... are you sure you want to leave him? And her, even?" She lowered her gaze to Blitz again, tilting her head.

"I guess deep down I knew they'd notice no matter what happened." She paused as the wolf's other questions hit her like rocks dropping into her stomach. The one hole in her plan had been found and now that she'd acknowledged its presence, she couldn't simply ignore it anymore. "I...I don't know. And that's another thing that doesn't even make sense to me. I want so badly just to forget this whole situation, but at the same time I don't. I don't want to forget about the fun times I've had with Slyth and Saba both together and alone. Sometimes I think it'd be better for everyone if I did though." Why did this all have to happen in the first place? She'd simply been another hybrid on a racing team before this fiasco, content with nothing more than increasing her speed. Now she was in the middle of a love triangle that one third of said triangle didn't even know about.
With a deep breath, she calmed the hysteria out of herself again and thought through things again. "Maybe I need to evaluate things again and try to get a new perspective on the situation before making a decision as big as this. Is there any advice that you could give me, seeing this from the outside?"

Slyth raised his eyebrows slightly as she revealed to him she was a gang dog. He supposed that with the way she managed to take him down to the ground twice before he realized it, he shouldn't have been surprised. But she didn't fit the profile for a dog involved in that brutal crowd. She looked too. . . nice.
Giggling at the surprised look on Slyth's face, 'Nothing' remembered something from the past that had been jarred by looking over him. Something about his appearance had stirred the distrubing memories. "You know, i've just noticed. You look alot like a dog that tried to join us awhile back. I think his name was Storm?"
Slyth frowned at her question. He could remember only too well what she was talking about. It had some really gruesome results. Including Blitz almost becoming a murderer. "Yea. That's my brother."
"I can remember that Blitz tested him. That didn't end too well though." She continued, frowning and her ears falling down once she recalled what had happened. She saw Slyth shudder and shook her head as well. "Im sorry about bringing that up. You just reminded me of him. I never got to know him. But i remember how he looked."
That had just been a really bad day for alot of dogs. Slyth, Blitz, Storm, and especially the dog that Blitz had nearly killed.
"I've been trying to forget that memory ever since it happened. But it kinda had a chain reaction that led to alot of different things on my end." Slyth frowned remembering with a slight twinge of pain and guilt when his sister, Saba, had tried to kill herself because she though he, Slyth, loved Blitz more than her. He wasn't about to tell 'Nothing' about that, but it was just a really rough time for him.
Nodding her head in understanding, the fae let a few seconds of silence hang between them. Ever since becoming one of the gang dogs around town, and with the war between the gangs now reaching an almost chaotic level, she had to keep her guard up and senses on high alert at all times in case an unfriendly dog tried to surprise her. It'd become a habit of hers to sniff the air for new or forign scents frequently. During these few moments of silence between her and Slyth, she sniffed the wind and immediatly stood up. She had gotten wind of two scents. One was vaguely familiar. The other was completely unrecognizable. But she knew both of the two scents to be wolves.
Standing up with he fur standing as well and her ears perched up atop her head listening for the sounds of movement or voices, she did her best to maintain calm. But she felt that the atmosphere had just become hostile. So she felt a need to get Slyth away before any kind of attack occured. So, leaning toward the friendly brute she placed her muzzle by his ear and breathed "Get out of here. Don't ask questions. Just go!."
Slyth wasn't quite sure what was going on, but from what he could gather from her urgent whisper in his ear and her reactions, something was wrong. He didn't want to get in the way if she knew what she was doing, so he made to do as he was told and started to run off. But he stopped short and looked back at her over his shoulder. He didn't want to leave her. He felt like they had already bonded a nice friendship. He was unsure if he left now whether they would see each other again. Opening his jaws he asked her one quick question that she interrupted before he could finish. "Will we-"
"Yes. Eventually we will see each other again. Out paths will sooner or later. Probably sooner than later. It is a small town." She flashed him a friendly smile before nodding her head to let him know he should leave.
He got the message and left at a run. He didn't know where to go, all he knew was he wanted to get to a more friendly part of town. So, with this in mind, he started to head back home. Perhaps he'd run into his sister there.
With Slyth out of harms way, the fae closed her eyes in order to heighten her other senses. She managed to find their scent again and as silence settled down around her, she was able to understand voices. Both of which told her the two were female. Her nose and ears alone told her where the two were hiding. She could tell the scents were too close for comfort. But since they both were wolf scents, she didn't know what wolves would be doing getting involved in a dogs war. But she didn't consider this. All she cared about at the moment was that there were two wolves nearby, suspiciously hiding from view. Something wasn't right. So, creeping low to the ground, she found the two were hiding behind a pair of trash cans. (Sorry if this is wrong. I tried to find what you two were behind in the previous posts but couldn't find an details that told.) She shook her head in a mix between annoyance and anger. "Want to tell me what you two are doing?" She asked as she padded around to see the two wolves.
For a moment, she stared at the two, waiting for a response. But her eyes were drawn to one of the wolves. She appeared to be younger.(I'd throw in an acctual description but i can never remember what Blitz looks like.) It took her a few minutes to recognize this fae, but finally a name came. "Blitz?" It had been awhile since she'd last seen her, so she was quite surprised to just run into her at a time like this.

Eleriss shrugged. "Follow your own heart. Unless you want me to, I won't get involved - though I'll keep an eye o-" she began saying, but interrupting herself when the other fae surprised them. "What are you doing sneaking up on us like that?!" she hissed, baring her teeth at the dog. She didn't really answer the question - she took a defensive maneuver right away. After all, she had been spying in the first place, making her own plans. But Blitz having been as honest as she was, that had changed. She couldn't admit her true intentions - that would make Blitz look bad as well.
As Blitz was recognized by this dog, she began ranting. "Quite frankly, can't two canines have a friendly conversation uninterrupted these days?! My - how this world has gone to the dogs! ......... You get the picture... I find it incredibly rude! Have you not any manners, young lady?!"
She took on her usual half-arrogant façade.

(I need to draw a picture or her. But the exact design seems to keep changing on me. And I wasn't sure exactly what their history would be, so I just kind of left it open. We can work together to figure out how they treated each other back then and what the story is.)
The black and gray flecked dog had listened to the first portion of what Eleriss said, the words striking up her thoughts again and stirring them around into a soupy mess. When the fae jumped toward them, surprising the wolf, the hybrid was a little slow to respond, coming out of her fog just as the dog began to question them. Her mouth dropped open for about half a second, but when no words fell out, she closed it and Eleriss began her rant. For a moment, she looked like she'd gone into shock, but something about the rant broke through her silence and the hybrid did something she hadn't felt like doing in a while.
Her body, under the strain it was and not ready for such a surprise to occur caused her to laugh nervously. But she let the laugh continue just a little longer. Not because of the question, or because of the strange dog's sudden appearance, but because Eleriss had managed to get a short rant in. Of course, what she said was true. These days it seemed hard to just walk around Nome and not be found an interrupted at some point. But despite this, they both would have thought she was going mad if she kept chuckling, so she cleared her throat and quickly stammered, "Sorry, surprise doesn't seem to mix well with stress."
Then she realized that the fae had spoken her name. The thought startled her at first, though it really shouldn’t have. Dogs knew her in Nome, many more recently because of what she’d done to Dart. Her icy hues turned to the female and slowly she started to recognize her. It had been quite a long time, but the fae was indeed familiar.
“Dis?” She almost asked her what she was doing here, but then she remembered what part of town she was in and stopped herself. She hadn’t seen anything of the fae since the episode with Storm, and even then she’d only seen glimpses. Keeping a young pup out of trouble could be like that sometimes, though. And it had been even longer since they’d had a good chat, before she’d left to join the sled team. But now, with everything that had happened recently, she wondered what the fae thought of her. She hadn’t seen her reaction when the fight occurred and hadn’t really thought to look for her. What would be her reaction now?Sorry the image is a bit choppy. It was colored in a hurry, though I spent forever working on the design. It still might change a little, but the flecking will stay and just little details with the gray might change. Here she is:

Grinning as the fae she recognized as Blitz addressed her by her name, Dis padded over to her and looked her over. She had changed. Not so much, but the evidence of stress was there. "I never thought i'd see you around here again. After what you did to Dart and all." She shook her head. "As unsafe as this part of town is, it's especially unsafe for you." The smile had vanished from her face. Instead, it was replaced with a look of concern.
The main change in Blitz's physique was the weight drop. She had a healthy look to her when she last saw her. Now. . . she was thinning out. "Wanna tell me where you've been?"
(sorry about the shortness. I'm having to listen to my parents yell at each other while i write this.)

Ooc: I don't know, we're pretty far. You'll have to ask Balto678. And sorry, not much muse today. Oh, and if you haven't noticed, posted a pick of Blitz in my last post ^.^
Indeed, the hybrid fae had begun to thin as of late. She hadn't been eating well because of all the stress she'd been under, and who could blame her? Feeling as if the world would be crashing down around you at any moment would give anyone a nasty twist in her stomach. She still looked healthy enough to run, and her master hadn't noticed the subtle change just yet, though sometimes the husky mix wished he would be more observant. Dis mentioned Blitz's thoughts about this place, but what really caught her attention was the mention of Dart. She winced once and let her finish.
"Yeah, I just had to find a friend. This is Eleriss, by the way," she gestured to the female wolf. "Eleriss, meet Dis. She's an old friend." She smiled, but it wasn't as genuine as normal. No doubt the other fae would catch that. "I didn't think I'd be back here either, at least not until things cooled off more. I've mostly just been hanging around the other end of town with my musher. How is Dart, by the way?" She avoided half of the question about her whereabouts for the moment, hoping that maybe later they could talk alone somewhere private. Especially since, given what Eleriss had told her and her sudden meeting with the reality that her decision was much more serious than she'd been trying to play it off as, she needed more time to think.

Eleriss eyes Dis over, frowning a little after Blitz introduced the two. "She looks quite skranky, I'd say." she said while examining the dog. "Healthy diets, much?" Inside she was a bit concerned about this recent appearance. Eleriss didn't really know how much the fae had overheard of their conversation. She therefore decided to deliberately trail off the new arrival as much as possible.
Her eyes left Dis for a moment as she comitted herself to her thoughts, before they peered at Blitz. "Privacy?"

"Find a friend?" Dis asked, feeling slight hurt that Blitz hadn't come to her for help. But she didn't show it. Before she could really say anything else, Blitz insisted on introducing her to the wolf that had reacted to her accusing questiong with an offended rant. Once they were introduced, Dis just nodded her head at the wolf before turning back to Blitz to ask her a question. She opened her mouth, but Blitz spoke before she could get the words out.
This time, it was a question about her would-be murder victim. Scratching her head, searching her memory for the last time she'd seen Dart, Dis wasn't really sure. When she couldn't come up with anything she just shrugged her shoulders at her. "I really couldn't tell ya. The last time i saw him, to be honest, was probably when you nearly killed him off. I'll still never know how he survived that. though"

The fae glanced at Eleriss, noting her comment, but Dis seemed to pay it no mind. And then she answered her question. So she hadn't seen Dart in a while. The hybrid should have figured as much. The last she'd heard about the matter was that he was in the hospital and several of his followers were spending most of their time near him, trying to encourage him to get better. "Yeah..." she murmured back, trying desperately not to remember the details of that day. In addition to the damage she'd done, it was the same day that the mess she was trying to solve now had begun.
But Eleriss's question caught her off guard and she glanced up, unsure exactly how the drappa wanted her to answer. She thought for a moment before answering, "If you wouldn't mind. I'm sorry to put off our own conversation so abruptly. But I'll think about what you said. It's a much larger decision than I really wanted to believe." She sighed, hoping that explanation would be enough for now.
She couldn't know exactly what Eleriss was thinking, or why she was acting like this towards Dis, but if she'd known, it might have been a different matter. Even so, Blitz was secretly glad to be able to talk to her old friend again. Perhaps if she told her a bit of what was going on, it might help her figure out this mess. After all, she could still trust her with her secrets, couldn't she?

Eleriss nodded understandingly. "I'll be by that boat over there," she said, motioning toward the stranded boat a small walk from their location, "if you need me."
With that she walked off.

(Wanna post Kodi Girl?)
Dis watched Eleriss pad away from her and Blitz for a few moments before turning to face her old friend. For a few seconds, she didn't say anything. Instead, she gave Blitz the opportunity to speak up. She had several questions of her own that she wanted to ask Blitz, but she held them back in case Blitz wanted to speak first without being pestered with questions. However, after a few seconds of silence, she decided to break the ice between them. "I can't help but notice Blitz. You look stressed out. What's going on?" The concerned expression remained on her face as she said this. "I'm going to walk out on a limb here and guess that it's not just about Dart." she added, studying her face.

Tried to open her mouth and initiate the conversation, but today the words simply didn't want to cooperate with her. Finally, she was somewhat saved when Dis asked her the very questions she'd been trying to answer. With a light sigh, she nodded and replied. "I'd hoped it wasn't quite that obvious, but I should have guessed. I'm awful at hiding my feelings ever since becoming a house dog." She cast around for something, as if seeing anything familiar might jog her memory, but finally she simply began her story. "You're right, it's not about Dart. As much as I should be worried about my own safety here, that's one of the furthest things from my mind. The funny thing is, it is a dog that's got my attention focused so heavily on him, a male. But the situation's complicated." She went on, explaining the bare bones of what had happened, though didn't mention any names in case the story got out and some other nosy dog was listening. "And, that's mostly it. I have no idea what I should do, and it's come down to asking a wolf, Eleriss, if I could come stay with her until I can think straight." She shook her head. Not that she wasn't opposed to the idea, but it was just so not normal for her to be running away from anything. "I have no idea what to do. I don't want to run away, I'm afraid to be away from them for too long, but I don't know which heartbreak I could bear more, my own or hers."

Dis could tell that Blitz was having trouble finding the words to explain her situation. So, like a friend, she waited and listened. Finally though, the words came to her and began to roll off her tongue. As Blitz explained her life's story since they had last seen each other, it seemed like Blitz was living the life of love struck dog. She was right, it was a bit of a sticky situation. She couldn't bring herself to ask Blitz who was the dog that had attracted her so strongly. She decided it was best to just let Blitz tell what she wanted to and settle for that.
"I gotta tell you Blitz . . . i don't know what to tell you. You're in love with this male and he's in love with you. But he's already got a mate that he loves too? Seems to me like he'd be the one hopelessly confused. I would be." Seeing the look of Blitz's face made Dis rethink on her words. She could tell she wanted help. What she had just said had basically told her she couldn't help. She shook her head though. "Is this really. . . true love? Do you feel that this male dog is the one you want to spend your life with? I would decide that before i got my head mixed up in these other affairs. "I would suggest, Blitz, that if you want to figure this out, you should spend your time talking with him. It'd be far more progressive than running out of town to get away from him. I'm not going to stop you if you do, but i'm just telling you what i think."
While Dis and Blitz were talking, Slyth had traveled to the other side of the small town. Just as 'Nothing' had told him to do, he had run to where he felt safe. Home. He had perched himself of the porch, laying down on his belly. While his mind was worried for the new friend he seemed to have made, his mind was in the middle of a serious argument with himself. He was debating on whether he should go in and ask his father's help on the situation or not. He had just reached his home when his dad showed up and padded inside.
Clearly, if he wanted to settle things between him, Saba and Blitz, he was going to need help. He was tired of being so confused all the time. It was hard to explain, but both Saba and Blitz gave him a funny feeling in his stomach that he liked. Both of them had scents he found intoxicating. But he was torn to whom he should choose. Saba. . . his sister, or Blitz. After several minutes of the heated battle in his mind, he finally stood up. There was no way around it. He had to get some advice and his dad was one of the first people he would have gone to on the subject. He just hadn't done so yet because of the whole thing involving his sister. Also. . . unless he was getting things mixed up again as his confused mind always did, his mom and dad though he was with Blitz right now.
In any case, he decided to go for it and see if Balto couldn't give him any kind of advice that would be helpful. He had decided to not mention any names. Just. . . ask him what he'd do if he were in his position. He made himself run inside the building that was his home so that he could find his dad and get this over with as quick as possible before he lost his nerve. Glancing around the first room that his owners sat in alot and seeing no sign of his dad, he went on with his search. He had an idea where he had gone. But he hoped he was wrong because it would make things more awkeward. As if this wasn't going to be awkeward enough.
Sure enough, when he had searched every room in the house, he was left with only one to look in. The room where his parents slept. Just as he had thought, his dad was there. Also, his mother, Jenna, was with him.
