Kat sighed, she really wanted a cigarett right now.
"I don't want to love a life where I'm terrified that you'll leave me... It's hppened once before..." her voice trailed off.

Ian frowned.
"You honestly think I'd leave you again?" He questioned, rubbing her cheek softly. "I told you I loved you, what more can you need?"

Kay faltered "you left just now... You slammed the door behind you and left.." Kat countered weakly.

Ian paused, rubbing he arm.
"You know I have anger...issues.." He muttered quietly, almost shyly. "I would've just stayed out for a bit.."

Kat shook her head slowly "Ever since that day... When you yelled and screamed me away... I..." Kat squeezed her eyes shut at the memory and shivered "I can't trust you to come back, okay? I stopped looking for the good in people a loonngg time ago, alright? It started when I was sent back to the orphanage... But then you came along and worsened it. So, yeah, I may have over reacted, but it's your doing." she snapped, the memory bringing a fresh wave of agony ripping up her chest.

((ooc: I edited this so Ian would have more of a reason to hit Kat xD ))

Ian frowned, taking her arm tightly.
"What do you not understand about 'I love you'!?" He growled, pushing her roughly away from him. "I Told you I'd never leave again!" Ian barked, hitting her across the face with the back of his palm.

Kat yelped and tried to move away from him. She held her eye, where Ian hit her, then looked at him. Her heart broke then. What if Arthur was right? What if he did change? Kat felt hot tears stream down her face, but she didn't sob. She put a little more pressure on her eye then noticed he still had a firm grip on her arm. Her arm began to ache, he was holding her too tightly. Kat tried to shrug him off, but he kept a firm hold on her.
"Okay Ian...Okay..." she said in a hushed voice. Kat could tell that the whack she'd just recieved would soon be a bruise. She'd tell Kristin or anyone that asked that she ran into a door.... Or she dropped her phone on her face while texting. Kat's tears had slowed, and finally stopped. She removed her palm from her eye and blinked away a blurry fog. Her eye was red and the skin around it Was twitching slightly.

Ian let go of her and stood, walking into the kitchen to see Kristin at the little table. He opened the refrigerator and pulled out a bottle of water, before walking back into the bedroom.
"Why do you cry so much?" He demanded.

Kat stopped crying obediantly and looked at her feet.
"Im sorry" she never said sorry, to anyone. But Kat was dead scared of Ian, so am apology seemed to be the best sign of submission that she could offer. Kat got off of her bed and went to her closet, she pulled out at suitcase and started packing. Maybe this would make Ian happy. Maybe he'd be nice to her again if she did exactly what he asked of her.

"You didn't answer my question.." Ian huffed, watching her pack her stuff up. "You used to be so..strong. Now you're a wee little girl, what happened to my Katherine?" Ian questioned, staring aimlessly at Kat's back.

Kat turned to him stiffly, she raised her jaw a bit and rolled her shoulders back, like she used to. Kat locked eyes with Ian and frowned, her gaze cold and unreadable. She took s deep breath and rolled her shoulders back.
"To answer your first question, I cry because my life usually sucks. To answer your second question, the Kathrine you used to know was hiding. But she's back now" Kat growled, trying to act like her old self. The Kat that was strong, before the world got a hold of her, chewed her up, and spit her back up.

Ian smirked, stepping closer, putting two fingers under her chin and making her look up at him.
"Your life won't suck anymore." He replied. "And that's the Katherine I love, glad to see she's back." Ian pressed his lips against hers, pushing her softly down onto the bed.

Kat found herself smiling, she was done with weeping, she could handel Ian if she played her cards right. She kissed him back urgently, gripping chunkfuls of his hair and smiling all the while. The memory of him hitting he seemed to melt away, she forgave him, she always would.

Ian pinned her to the bed, kissing her more harshly, more demanding.

Kat looked over her shoulder at the clock on her room, she'd have to head over to Reggie's in an hour. Kat stretched out her arms and sat up. She put a hand on Ian's cheek and smiled.
"Im gonna make some popcorn, you want some?" she asked, getting up and pulling on her Reggie's shirt and her black skinny jeans.
