Reka counted. Wedge was asleep. Tyler was by Kurt. Blair was in site.
"I don't see Rochelle," she said to Kurt.

Kurt stood, "I'll see if she's outside." He said, walking out.

Reka nodded and made sure to keep her eyes on the remaining three pups as she called them into the den.

Kurt walked outside, looking around. He walked around every rock, and tree, and sniffed the ground.
"Hmm...Rochelle?" He called, worried.

The normal hiding places where silent and empty. Then suddenly, there was a loud squeal from Rochelle from near the stream.

"ROCHELLE!?!?" Kurt barked, bolting to the stream, worried sick. Oh gosh what if she fell in? Oh baby im coming, hold on... Kurt's heart raced.

There at the side of the stream was Rochelle, eyes wide in terror as she crouched down under the huge brown wolf that stood above her.

Kurt snarled loudly as he saw the familiar brown male, towering over Rochelle. He was shaking with fury, and walked over to his pup.
"GET. AWAY. FROM HER." He barked viciously.

Rochelle backed up under Kurt, cuddling close against his leg. Everett bared his teeth, towering above Kurt.
"Long time no see, Runt," he sneered, lashing his tail to the side.

Kurt bared his teeth, and lashed his tail from side to side.
"What do you want Everett?!" He spat, annoyed.

Everett smirked and glanced down at Rochelle who quivered under his gaze.
"I suppose she's one of yours, correct?" Everett let his claws scrape at the ground. "Be a shame...if something were to happen to her.."

Kurt hissed at his threat, and stood protectively over his daughter.
"Lay a claw on her and you wont see the light of tomorrow, Everett." He warned.

Everett snickered deviously. "It's a shame she's quiet." he said. "I was hoping to catch a more...talkative one." Everett locked his eyes with those of Rochelle, who backed up further under Kurt. "No matter.." Everett continued. "There's always next time."

Kurt snarled, raising his haunches, and shook with even more fury, ready to teaar Everett apart.
"There will NOT Be a next time, okay? LEAVE ME AND MY FAMILY ALONE!!" Kust spat angrily, picking up Rochelle and trotting off.

"Don't count on it," Everett spat as he turned and disappeared into the woods.
Rochelle curled into the puppy pose when Kurt picked her up. She whimpered slightly, still a bit shaken from her encounter with Everett.
