Empoleon nodded. "Well I don't completely remember them, my memory got a little scrambled in things," he said. "Did you keep your memory?"

Empoleon nodded. "So, how's things going with your team?"

"Can't help who you fall for," said Empoleon. "Simple advice, if someone tells you to choose between two improtant things, make sure there isn't a third option before picking."

"Doesn't change that its good advice," said Empoleon. "And more importantly, never give up no matter what," he said. "Because odds are, things are going to get real bad before they get better," he explained. "Tell me, what's the worst thing that's happened to you?"

Empoleon nodded. "It's alright, but I can promise you, you'll need to be ready for anything," he said. "Me and my partner were trapped in a future were time had stopped, the sun could never rise and misery was the only thing that existed because we were betrayed by the one we'd looked up to as a hero. He tricked us into thinking the one who'd actually been trying to save the world was the one trying to destroy it and used us to capture him...he tied us up and was going to have us hacked to pieces by his henchmen's Fury Swipes...and that's just the first few minutes of that..." he said. "It only got worse from there to be honest..." he said, showing sorrow and fear just remembering it. "Honestly, the worst part was knowing we'd been tricked into causing that terrible future...Buizel, do you think you could handle something like that happening to you and still continue trying to save the world?"

Empoleon nodded. "I understand, and I don't blame you for that," he said. "I was manipulated into setting off the end of the world, resulting in thousands of deaths. I altered time and prevented it, but if I can be forgiven for that, you can be forgiven for what you were tricked into doing," he explained. "But the worst things you're going to face is people like Darkrai used to be...he nearly convinced me and my partner to..." he started, then looked upset. "He so close to convincing me and my partner our existence was going to destroy the world we were considering killing ourselves, he was that convincing...it's people like that, the people who can get in your head and mess you up, that you need to worry about."

Empoleon nodded. "The worst thing was the last trick he tried to pull on me," he said. "He trapped me in a nightmare where my partner had lost all hope and given up beating Darkrai...ironically, that's what exposed it," he said, giving a smile. "Because I knew my partner would never quiet no matter what."
