Zackutora felt a pang of regret for allowing Izabella slip away like she had done, but he figured she had to tend to her father arguing with that Stella character. He sighed heavily, looking back at Naya through bang-covered eyes. He remembered that Azuze had warned him and a few others not to drink a nearby stream. All he could do was nod due to having a conversation with Naya.
"Well, it's a long story, and I'm pretty sure we don't have enough time now, but, in the least, I lost my family, and ventured in the forests for years and years on end, searching for a home, and someone to stay with. When I first met Azuze, I immediately loved him, but.....he didn't feel the same. Sometimes I get so frustrated that I just want to......"
She trailed off, which gave Zack the thought that she hoped Azuzephre would have loved her back. The large orange male had overheard the arguement a little farther away between Azuze and Stella. He flipped his left ear back to where he could hear a tad clearer as to hear what they were retorting about. Something about Azuze having lost his mate and not wanting to love again. Hearing the whole story in only a few minutes time, it mentally tore Zack's heart into pieces. How terrible it was to love a love like that...he hoped if he had the courage to ask Izzy he wouldn't lose her like the blue male had lost his mate. But that all depands if the little female wants to.
He refrained from looking back towards the heated arguement to his backside, keeping his respectful gaze towards Naya. Her story summed up much like his own, aside from having serious feelings towards Azuze. Zack closed his eyes and began to shae his head softly, not believing how such terrible things happen to good WDks. "Terrible." He mumbled before he looked at the female with his cranium staying still.
"Anyway I was traveling for a long time and finally found more of my breed, and requested to stay with Azuze and the others, and, well, of course he said okay, wanting as many WdKs as possible for the long trip. Sometimes I feel that Azuze just needs to accept everyone's friendship, and maybe he'd feel safe with us, but.....I guess he just doesn't trust anyone besides Izzy. Sometimes I wish I could just sit there and embrace him for the longest time, share all of his feelings, listen to the beat of his heart, and fall asleep beside him, but I know that'll never happen. Maybe things would be easier if my sister was around......she would always listen to my thoughts, even though they might seem stupid......"
Zack had figured the same thing when the lead male allowed Zack to carry him on his back to his cave, a stranger's cave. Perhaps the more abundance in one's breed made everything seem less fearful and dangerous. The orange male nodded in agreement, not having anything to say more or less. But the sudden metion on Naya's sister caused Zack to prick both of his ears forward with a hint of interest. "You have a sister?" Zack questioned, his expression; though, hidden behind ebony bangs.
Maybe if Zack's brother magically appeared higher up the mountain and if Naya's sister ironically joined the pack soon, he could try and persuade Boomerang (his brother) to accomplish his desire to have a mate. Although, that shouldn't be the only topic set on his mind. There were plenty of other things to worry about. Mentally smacking himself back to reality, the large orange male paid attention to the female, seeing as she was about to speak again.
"Sorry, sometimes I get caught up in nature and it's beauty. Um, well, enough about me already......so, do you think you'll ever find your brother again?"
Naya had dozed off into looking at the silver moon, lost within the dark depths of her mind. It wasn't long until she looked back towards Zack with a slightly embarassed expression. "It's alright, the same happens to me when I'm feeling a bit down." He paused, doubting that Boomerang may ever show his face again, but to be polite he stressfully sounded positive. "Perhaps. Who knows, he may be higher up the mountain living in the trees somewhere." He rose to all four paws and gestured with his tail for Naya to follow him to catch up with the rest of the group. He bagan to walk towards Azuze and Izzy but kept his hidden gaze towards Naya.
