(( This is not a bump! ))

Eleriss, after having been to the lake for a few, figured that everything must've calmed down by now, thus she decided to go back to town again. After all, there was much to see. However, she knew that Saba and Slyth loved each others, but how much exactly? Everything was a bit confusing for her. They seemed to love each others more than just as siblings.
In a way, it was cute, but something told her that she would have to tell Balto and his love about it. They needed to know it, and it was better sooner than later. Then again, she didn't want to tell them before she could prove it in a way... some way. She could just not go and make unfound accusations without anything to back her up.

She sighed.
I guess it will stay a secret for now. she thought.

Without noticing it, she had already wandered off, and she overheard two voices talking. She recognized the one as Slyth, but the other one was unknown. Silently, she snuck closer, eavesdropping.

Sorry, I was waiting to see if anyone else was going to post. I guess after two weeks, this needs to be bumped back to the top with a post to read rather than a bump.

"Who are you?" Slyth asked, getting cautiously back on his paws, keeping a close eye on the fae who had just taken him down before he'd even realized it. "I've never seen you around here before and i've lived here my whole life." Even though he had no idea how or what she had done, but she didn't have fit the description of someone dangerous. She looked rather sweet and, dare he say it(considering his predicament with Saba and Blitz), cute.

"Have you really?" she asked in a tone of mild interest. Her eyes were trained on Slyth's stance. His legs out straight, all of which were close together. He didn't have them spread out, which would give him more balance. That alone was able to tell her enough to know that he wasn't from around here. While he might have been from Nome, he diffinatly had strayed into the wrong part of town. "Tell me, what's your name?" she asked, cocking her head to the side.

Slyth glanced once over the thin, lyth fae's body, noticing the two colors of her coat that stood out in contrast to one another. Brown splattered half of her face and chest, covering one eye, and going down to her neck where she was a mix of a reddish color and white. He couldn't tell what color her eyes were, but they seemed to be on the blue side of the color scale.
"My name is Slyth. What did you say your name was again?"

"I didn't" she said, though she wore an odd smirk as she spoke.

This girl was an enigma to Slyth.

She narrowed her eyes a bit, peering at the two talking. She was well aware that it was rude to eavesdrop, but the possible drama outcome of this situation was too good not to look over.
The fae that had appeared around Slyth seemed slightly cocky, but also sweet at the same time.

Making sure she moved as little as possible, she put herself down on the ground and perked her ears.

I wonder what they both are doing here? It seems like a dodgy part of the town. she thought. Or maybe I'm just misinterpreting it since I'm a wild animal, unlike them...

And the eavesdropping went on...

Mmmm. . . I don't know. She just kinda. . . vanished. . . I can post, but i don't know how much farther this RP will be able to get without Aniu.

Slyth didn't know what to do here. This strang dog had popped up out of nowhere and had already taken him down twice so quick he didn't realize she'd done it until he hit the ground. She had spoken to him at first like she wanted to help him out, but now she was just speaking in a half-giggle and looking at him strangely like she was just toying with him until she got bored.

"Well. . . what do you want me to call you?" he asked, watching her as she padded around him.

"What do you want to call me?" the fae giggled as she dragged her tail across his sides and under his chin while she padded around him. She was already having fun with this brute. She had already managed to get him confused. As if he weren't confused already before they met.

Slyth frowned and put a paw forcefully down to the ground in frustration. The dog wasn't giving him anything. "If you're going to be this way then i'm not going to call you anything." Slyth had to stop himself there. The only words that came to mind after that were names he knew he'd regret saying or insults she didn't deserve. . . yet.

Apparently Aniu is simply too busy to log on and RP right now. I dunno if this is permanent or if it's just a rough time for her right now, but she finally sent me a text saying ' Life finally caught up with me. May not be back up on the site. '

Then you should take over Aniu's characters, perhaps? So we can continue ^^

Frankly, before summer I'd been trying to give Kodi Girl an opportunity to post, since Blitz has been monopolizing his time and the rp was originally supposed to be about Saba and Slyth, but I guess it's time for me to post.

Time had elapsed just long enough that Blitz had left the area where Max and the child had been and begun to wander back into the bad parts of town. Then again, this part of Nome was as familiar to her as the more prestigious parts, given her history with the local dog gangs. Also, considering her recent brush with this past, it may not have been the safest place for her to be. Just recently, she'd let her animal side get the best of her, and had deposed and fatally wounded one of the more prominent gang leaders. Thus, it wouldn't have surprised her to find the place in disarray. Because of her, boundaries had become disputed even more greatly than they had been before and gang numbers were erratically changing due to gangless dogs being picked up and then killed in turf wars.

The hybrid wasn't aware of the turbulence at the moment. Had she been focused on that, she might have guessed that the atmosphere and the attitudes that her presence might evoke would not be friendly. But, being in her current state of mind, she simply continued to traipse through unaware of the eyes that peered at her from behind near trash cans. Gradually, she moved unwittingly to where Eleriss, Slyth, and the unknown female were, approaching the wolf's side first. Every once in a while though, she thought she heard littple pilps of snow behind her, but finally just attributed it to her imagination. Then, Balto's sister came into her line of sight and she forgot all about the strange noises, focusing instead on the reason she'd needed to find her originally.

"Eleriss?" she said in astonishment just audibly enough for the wolf. "What are you doing in this part of town? Not that you're not allowed, of course, I just didn't expect to see you here." Despite her words, it was then that it truly dawned on her where she was, but strangely she felt more curious that the wolf was here than fear for herself. She hadn't yet scented the other two and so she simply padded quietly closer to the wolfess. "Never mind that. There was something I wanted to ask you - something I thought you might be able to help me with."

Oh, well that's very kind of you ^^. But, the thing is, I'm not very good at barging into other parts of an RP, where two characters are interacting already. That is one of my Rping flaws. But I shall try nonetheless! So thank you again Aniu:

Saba, quickly finding the company of the male dogs in Nome to be quite annoying, with their persisting voices already has her on edge. She sighed, sniffing around for her brother now. Not that her mind needed ease, but she had spent time with Slythe before, and she could really use some good company now.

Eleriss choked a yelp and abruptly turned toward Blitz, one of her fangs barely showing as she readied herself to growl - quickly reeling herself in. This wasn't anything hostile like what she'd expect, being a wild wolf in a human environment.
She hadn't realized the other one had come so close to her - quite frankly, she was silently yelling at herself for being so unaware.

"Hi... uhm..." she began, not entirely certain how to explain the obvious eavesdropping, but luckily, Blitz continued speaking.
"Ask me? Sure... If I can, I'd be happy to."

She sat down, tilting her head to the left.

Did Aniu just make a post? *faints*

Grinning from ear to ear, the fae stopped in front of the brute and sat down directly in front of him. Just from the angle she positioned herself, her head blocked Slyth's face from view where Eleriss currently lay; eavesdropping on him.
"You can call me 'nothing' if you like." She giggled.

Slyth was ready to just give up. He didn't know why he wasn't being as friendly as he normally was, she was just so strange. He knew he had been stressed about something before she showed up, but she had just confused him too much to recall what it was.
Once she sat down, one then Slyth noticed was her eyes resembled the same shade of gold that another dog he had known. Another female. He couldn't remember her name though.

"Okay, Nothing." Slyth breathed. He knew she was toying with him. "Is there anything I can help you with?"

Laughing, the fae shook her head. "I think it may be you who needs my help." Something glinted in her eye as she said this. Slyth didn't know what it was, but she had his thoughts elsewhere so he didn't even think twice about it.

"What could you help me with?" Slyth asked feeling like he would never understand what was going on around here. He'd lived in this town his whole life. Up until now, he believed he had explored the entire town and seen everything at one time or another. Now, however, this odd fae had shown up and only aided in confusing him even more.
He didn't even know her name, yet she believed he had a problem she could help him with. Perhaps, at this point, it'd just be easier to stop thinking all together.

If he had been paying attention, he would have already noticed the familiar scent of Eleriss. The wolf to whom was his father's sister. She also happened to have discovered his issue between Saba, Blitz, and himself. He would have also noticed that a second and very familiar scent had joined hers as Blitz showed up.

"Is there not something you need help with? Perhaps . . . love interests?" She giggled. She honestly didn't know. She had just seen him wondering around with a lost expression on his face. So, naturally, she assumed he was lost about some issue or problem he had to cope with.

Unsure if he had heard her right, Slyth glanced around as if he were looking for help. But all that met his eyes was the scenery of a small town. "Im sorry?"

Deciding that if she confused him any further he may just lose his sanity, the fae shook her head. "Allow me to explain myself to you."
The grabbed Slyth by the muzzle again, but not quite as forcefully as the first time. "I can tell you arn't from around here, at least not this part of town, because you don't have any scars on your face or muzzle. The dogs around here are what you would call gangs. And right now the two in this area are at war with each other. I didn't recognize you so i figured you might be part of our enemy gang. But once i got closer, i thought you might be an innocent bystander." She explained, releasing his maw from her grip.

Relieved that finally some explination as to what was going on was finally being given to him, Slyth didn't struggle when she grabbed him by the muzzle again. He just listened to what she had to say. When she let go of him, he sat up straight and shook his head. "Okay. That makes sense. I don't understand why i'd have to have a scar on my face if i were in a gang though." Then part of what 'Nothing' had said registered in Slyth's mind. "Are you in a gang, then?"

Shrugging her shoulders, 'Nothing' said simply in response to Slyth's first question."It's part of their induction when you join their numbers. It's got something to do with their philosophy."
Then, chuckling, she nodded her head at his second question. "Yes. I am."

The hybrid paused for a moment, and sighed, as if she were getting ready to explain her life's story. And it might as well have been, considering how involved the whole situation was, and how much drama it had seemed to cause the sleepy little town of Nome. The funny thing was that the town didn't know yet, but when it did, if it did, the town gossips would have something to talk about for no less than 6 months. What a disaster that would be. Balto and Jenna would have to put up with it as much as the three younger dogs, if not more. Finally, the grey and black husky mix got up the nerve to speak again, leaving all thoughts of Slyth behind her for now.

"I need to get out of town, Eleriss." After the first sentence spilled out, the rest came a little bit easier. "I'm sure by now you at least have an inkling of what's going on with Slyth, Saba and myself. You may not know all the details, but that's not entirely important right now, I suppose. The fact of the matter is that I just can't seem to come up with any good decision here. One way, I'm betraying a friend, and the other I'm betraying myself." She was vague on the details, both in case the wolf didn't know quite as much as she thought she did, and so that she didn't lose her courage and drop the whole idea. Too late to back out now.

With another light sigh, she began to pace, trying to think of what to say next, what would logically follow everything that she'd divulged. But her train of thought abruptly wrecked inside her mind and she had to try again to get her bearings, pausing a little longer than she had intended. "I can't think of anyone in town who would really know a definitive answer to our situation, not to mention that anyone I ask would want to know details, and once those details would come out, the gossip would start. I'd rather spare them all that, if I could. But before I can even decide what would be best for everyone in the situation, I need to get away from here. This whole place is just filled with too many reminders, too many people who could distract me just long enough to confuse me again. I need to get some perspective and it's just not working here."

She glanced up at the she-wolf here, her icy hues clear despite the frantic beating of her heart. Had she not been trying to prepare herself for several hours, her frame would have been shaking horribly. Her soul, however, was free from sight and was reacting exactly the way her body should have. "I was wondering if you could take me into the woods for a while, show me your home maybe. Maybe try to help me find out more about my father. He was a wolf too." She stopped here, afraid of revealing more than she'd intended about the whole situation and waited for a moment before adding, "But if you don't want to, or think it would be too dangerous for a half-dog, then I understand of course. I just need to find some way to leave without causing anyone too much panic."
