"I'm sorry...I'm so sorry..." she sobbed through clenched teeth. It didn't take much to break Kat anymore.

Alfred sighed and ran a hand through his golden hair.
"I know you are.." He muttered.

Kat wanted Alfred to scoop her up into a hug, but Gerard poked his head in, seeing as the yelling had stopped. He saw Kat sitting with her back to the wall, hunched over, tears streaming down her face. "How's my little super-star! She fixed?" He chimed, suddenly happy.

"I guess." Alfred grunted, turning his back to Kat. "Won't surprise me if she goes back to drinking or drugs or whatever as soon as you turn your back.."

His bitter tone made her wince, she was shattered. She knew only Alfred could piece her back together, but that took time. And she knew Alfred didn't have to time, nor the patients, to piece her back together. She felt Gerard's hands pull her up to her feet, and she shivered away from his touch. Kat didn't like this, not one bit. She missed Alfred, and the one time she did get to see him, he was yelling at her. Gerard's face came across her vision, he grinned at her. But he didn't care about her, he cared about her money. Kat slumped her shoulders, looking at the floor.

Arthur didn't come back into the room, he was in the garden outside, watching the sky with pure anger.
"Are you two staying longer? Because we have the guest rooms ready..?"

"Yes. Just a few days." Gerard said, dusting off Kat's shoulder, and fixing her flannel.

"Alriiight. I'll show you to your rooms.." Alfred said with a sigh, rolling his shoulders and leading Gerard upstairs.

Kat fallowed numbly, her feet stepping behind Gerard.

Alfred pushed open the doors and showed Gerard to his own room, then showed Kat to hers.
"Um..The bathroom is just down the hall, and you've been in the kitchen.." He said, scratching the back of his neck shyly.

"Yeah, whatever. i won't get lost in your house." Kat snapped, all defenses up.

"Watch your mouth or you'll be lost in the streets." Arthur snapped back from the doorway, leaning against the doorframe with a frown.

Kat shot hm a glare, "You wouldn't kick me out." He threatened, her eyes dull but filled with hate.

"Try me." Arthur growled lowly, sending her his signature death glare, one much stronger than one she could ever make, filled with so many years of hate.

Kat held his glare, though her's couldn't compete with his, she just wasn't as ruthless as him.
