Fenris panted a little. "It'll be okay..."


Chesnut nodded "Kay..."

Curious and a bit apprehensive, the woman walked to the door and opened it. "Hello?" she asked cautiously. Two official looking men stood ont he porch. "Ma'am, we've been hearing reports about a group of strange dogs entering and leaving your household frequently."

Sadie glanced up, immediatly tensed. "Loki..." she said warningly, a knot of nervousness forming in her stomach.

Looking inside, it wasn't hard to see that four large canines were in the house. And some of them looked like wolves and wolf-dogs. "What breed of dog are they?" one man asked suspiciously.

"The black one there is a husky. The one being hugged by my foster child is a german shepherd. The golden one is a golden retriever/german shepherd mix, and the one next to her is a german shepherd mix as well," she replied, crossing her arms.

"I'll need to see some form of evidence that you own them," the other said.

"I think it's time we should leave, Loki," Sadie murmured.

OOc: I thought Fn was a brown wolf( I forgot...) Or maybe Lyna starting hugging Fen. O.o I dunno.

"Wait a sec, Sadie..." Loki breathed. "We might be safe..."

Ooc:// Oops, I meant Fenris.

The woman immediatly faltered. What evidence could she show? "Give me a second to find it," she said, rushing downstairs. Rummaging around, she found some records on some dogs she had treated a while back. If they didn't look too closely, it could work....

Heading back up, she handed it to them. "If you look in sub-section B paragraph 7 you'll see that the husky was given to me by a reputable breeder and has already been registered by the American Kennel Club, and has one a few races before finding a home here. Then if you look in the next document in paragraph 39, you'll see the german shepherd mix was formerly part of Helping Hands Animal Care and Rescue shelter. I adopted him two weeks before he was to be put down. He has been a runner-up in a few agility competitions, and-"

She was cut off quickly. "Okay, I think we've heard enough. We'll just be on our way then. We do ask that you keep your dogs inside the house more. A fenced in yard would help immensely." WIth that, they left, leaving Sadie to breathe out a big sigh of relief.

"Well, that was certainly stressful," Fen said brightly.

"How could you be so happy?!" Loki snapped, "I mean... seriously... they left not one second ago and you snap back into a happy mood?"
Fenris looked at Loki uneasily.

"It was more of a sarcatic cheerfulness," Fen replied. "Besides, there's no point in being stressed if nothing is wrong at the moment."

"Well...I guess he does kind of have a point," Sadie said hesitantly, glancing at Loki.

"Yea, Sadie, I guess ie's right..." Loki muttered, "But even sarcastically, and with the fact that there's barely anything wrong... I dunno."

"Well, at least they left..." Fenris shrugged.

Lyna was staring at awe at the older woman. "You say lots of big words," she said.

The lady laughed. "I guess I did."

"That's okay tho," Fenris told Lyna, "The bad people are gone now..."

Loki nodded, "Do ya think we should leave?"

"Yeah," Sadie nodded. Looking at Lyna, she said, "Lyna, we have to leave now, but we'll come back tomorrow with some of the others, okay?"

Lyna slowly nodded. "Okay," she said, sounding disappointed and reluctant.

"Everybody ready to leave?" Sadie asked.

"Yea," Fenris and Loki said.


"Bye, Lyna," the black wolf told the young girl, "I'll be back in two days..."

"I'mma miss ya too," Fenris said as he walked to the door of the house, alongside Loki.
"I promise you can see 'er again," Loki said.

Sadie and Fen walked out after saying a brief good-bye.

"I imagine Holly and Chesnut will be ready for more training when we get back..." Loki stated.
