Brandy's phone buzzed twice, she sighed and nodded.
"Same, I should close up shop. Walk me out?" she asked, putting away a few things and walking out from behind the desk. She untied her apron revealing her sow getti strap tank top and blue shorts. Brandy pulled a thick coat over her arms and slipped her feet into a pair of boots.

Nick smiled "Of course.. it'd be my pleasure." He replied, rubbing his chin and flattening his goatee.

Brandy smiled a bit, opening the door and wincing away from the cold as she ventured outside. She jammed her fists in her pocket and shivered a little. Brandy closed the door behind them, locking the door and quickly stuffing her keys back in her pockets.
"It's f-freezing ou-out h-here." brandy mutter, her teeth chattering.

Nick looked at her and smiled, taking off his jacket. It was a faded green jacket. "U.S. Army" printed on the sleeve with an american flag. It was thicker, and warmer than it's looked. He grinned and wrapped it around her shoulders "Here."

Brandy blushed, pulling the jacket tightly around her shoulders. Sir smelt good, Nick smelt good. And it was very warm, warmer than her thin little ski jacket.
"Don't you need this?" she asked, "have you ever gone to Afghanistan?" she asked

"No no, It's an old one." Was the only reply he could think of he then sighed with embarrassment "No...Not yet, I've not finished training yet, they're not in need of soldiers that bad." He chuckled sheepishly.

Brandy nodded her head and began walking towards the bus, looking at Nick with a side ways glance.
"I'll give it back to you, I'd you take me out on a date." she said quickly but flirtatiously. Brandy was just that kind of girl.

Nick raised his eye brows and grinned "Well... In that case... I do need my coat back." He grinned acting carefree toward her.

Brandy grinned back, her eyes mischievous, "Swing by the cafe some time, well discuss the future of your coat then." brandy cooed, before swinging into the bus and leaving Nick behind. Flirting and dating was second nature to her, she was a flame. Sassy, but so sweet.

Nick smirked and with that he headed back to his car.

[Some weeks later...]

Nick hadn't gone back to the cafè in sometime, he wanted to play hard to get. Nick had assumed she'd forget him. So he paused at the window of the shop and glanced in, trying to remain unseen.

Brandy was hard at work, it was busier this week. Her hair was in a messy bun, pulled away from her face. Nick's jacket hung in the hallway at the back of the store. She hadn't forgotten about him, the jacket made sure she didn't. And she felt bad for keeping it for so long. She gave someone their change then went to make a kid her hot chocolate and paused when she pushed the whipped cream into the cup. Whip cream dotted her cheek, and her eyes moved to the windo, where she saw a familiar figure. A smile spread across her face.9

When she smiled at him, Nick knew she'd seen him. He smiled back and entered the shop casually.

Brandy handed the little girl her coco, the flashed a white grin at Nick, her face still splattered with whipped cream.
"I thought you didn't want your jacket back," Brandy said casually, "I was growing fond of it." she said, acting like his lack of appearance had no effect on her.

Nick couldn't decide if she was, acting or not: but he decided to find out. He smirked and raised an eye brow. "Oh no worries, you can keep it if you'd like. I got another one for ranking up to Specialist: Nick Anderson." He replied, pretending to not be intrested in her, he wanted to seem like he was just here for a drink. And to tease her even more he chuckled "Here..", wiping the whipped cream gently from her cheek, and running his hand slowly down her neck before quickly pulling away and trying not to smirk.

Brandy bit her lip to surpress a small smile when he wiped the whipped cream from her cheek. She liked this game, oh yes. This would keep her mind busy for a while. Trying to figure him out, she looked at him for a while, before her father called her attention.
"Brandy!" sht he short Native American man barked. "Get back to work!" he had no problem with her flirting on the job, as long as it didn't last too long.
"Yes, papa." she said, then cursed in Charokee and handed Nick a menu. There wasn't only coffee here, there was an assortment of sandwiches and baked goods. Brandy hovered around the table, quickly cleaning off a booth and setting up another table fore more customers.
