"Uh huh!" Lyna said, nodding immediatly. "I wuv see doggies!"

"I love seeing you, too, Lyna," Sadie said with a smile.

"So do I," Fen put in.

"Same here," Loki agreed.
Fenris nodded, "That's great!" he smiled widly again.
Loki ganced up at the woman, she hadn't said anything the whole time.

Unable to understand the dogs' barks, yips, and small growls, the woman glanced at Lyna. "What are they saying, dear?" she asked.

"Dey ask if we foun' Mama an' Daddy now," Lyna translated, giving Fenris a big squeeze. "I tell dem no. I keep seeing doggies now!"

Fenris woofed a "Yes!" to the woman, but in a way wanted to break the tight squeeze, as he wanted to breathe a little too.
Loki wagged his tail, trying to help gain the woman's trust a little more... so that he would know for sure he would alwas be welcome for help from her.

Lyna hugged Fenris even tighter. "I miss Mama an' Daddy, but...I miss doggies if I find dem..." she said slowly, obviously torn.

"I can show them where your house is so they can come visit," the woman said.

Sadie's tail wagged at the suggestion.

"Mama an' Daddy don't like doggies..." Lyna said sadly.

"Why...?" the darkly colored wolf asked sadly.
"Heh... we could always be sneaky..." Loki offered a suggestion, a little crestallen at the toddler's words.

"Well, they'll just have to get used to us, because we won't just leave Lyna," Sadie said firmly.

"It isn't like they can drive all of us away every single day," Fen added.

"Maybe they can..." Loki stared at the ground, and sighed.
"I hope not," Fenris half-frowned, "'Cause they'd get too mad at me..."

"We'll have to try anyway," Sadie said.

"Yeah, you try to see me," Lyna said, her r's sounding more like w's.

"I know I'll try at least once a day!" Fenris promised.
Loki nodded "It won't be easy..."

"I know," Loki smiled.
"We love you, ya know," Fenris stated bluntly.


Chesnut yawned, "Fliiinttt, I'm boooreed," she dragged out the syllables.
"Well, whatt'ya wanna do?"

"I dunno, Kid." Loki responded.

"We're at that junkyard with Flint..." Chesnut told Holly, "We're okay..."
Flint nodded.

"Right, sorry. I'm still half-asleep," Holly yawned.

"We can stay a bit longer," Sadie assured the toddler. Then loud, pounding knocks came from the front door. Taken by surprise, Lyna began to whimper, clinging to Fenris all the tighter and probably suffocating him at this point.
