Brandy nodded, moving smoothly over to the ice box and pulling out a can of whip cream. She was mostly Native American, her father was full blooded, but get mother was white. Therefore her skin tone was a light caramel, smooth and warm. She shook the cool bottle as she closed the door and sprayed the whipped cream into the cup. The white spray fluffed into the cup, but managed to spread on her cheek a bit too. She huffed through a smile of embarrassment and handed him his cup before grabbing a rag and wiping her cheek.
"you don't sound like you're from around here." she mused, looking at the rag and tossing it in the sink.

"Me? Oh why, I-I'm from Texas...Uh...I've lived here for a couple of years." He replied with a little shrug, noticing some whipped cream she had missed still on her cheek. He smiled when he noticed this but his blue eyes quickly darted away "Uh, you.. part native american?"

Brandy nodded, looking down and turning to lit the whipped cream back.
"Yeah, my dad is full blooded, but my mom is full Irish, red hair and everything. I look more like my dad though." she mused. She turned back to the stranger and smiled.
"Texas?" she echoed, her eyes wide with wonder. "I've never been there, is it nice?" she asked.

((what town are they in? I'd imagine a small dirt town somewhere.))

"It's... Nicer in some places than it is other. Personally, northern Texas is my favorite part." He smiled, watching her with curious blue eyes.

Nick was playing with his dogtag "Oh um, I'm here on... Military buisness." He replied gently.

Brandy nodded, "that's great. Thanks for keeping me safe, dude." she said, tipping her head in thanks and giggling like a child.

"Huh, oh.." he smiled sheepishly, blushing faintly "Uh, heh... You're very welcome, Miss...?" He gave a little bow then he looked at her curiously, hoping she'd finish by telling him her name.

"You can call me Brandy," she flirted aimlessly, leaning on the counter and smiling. Her dark eyes meeting his for a moment.

He smiled when there eyes met, he crossed his arms and leaned on the counter as well, but not as much as she. "I'm Nick. Private Nicholas Anderson." He smiled.

"Oh, I like that name." she said, thinking all men in uniform were instantly hot. She looked at the counter, then felt something her her pocket vibrate. She fished into her shorts only to find a text from her father.
Why aren't you home yet? the text read. Brandy rolled her dark eyes.
Someone came in last minuet. I didnt want to turn them away because of the snow. she replied quickly. Then, turning off her phone, turned back to Nick.

Nick couldn't help but chuckle "Here.." he took his thumb and gently wiped away that stray whipped cream, before smiling sheepishly "You still had a little whipped cream on your cheek."

Brandy smiled hugely, keeping eye contact with him. Her smile widened when he spoke, hot electricity buzzing along her skin.
"Thanks," she said with a flirtatious wink.

Nick smirked then he flinched when his phone went off. His alarm: "Hmm..looks like I gotta go." He sighed.
