Scout became quiet at that. "If only I had a chance to see my daughter, too," he said with longing.

"We are gonna go look for her, right?" Maria asked Aleu.
Danielle yelped, but quickly tacked Ana back down again.

Aleu chuckled. "Of course." she said. "If its ok with grandp-" she was interupted by Ana jumping into the air, yelping, having tackled Dani and making both land butt first on a porcupine sleeping under the snow. "That looks painful.

Ana whimpered but did as she was told. She barked at the porcupine but was startled when she smelled a nasty odor, not as bad as a skunk but still foul. She covered her nose. "Eew! What's that smell?!"
OOC: Little known fact, in addition to their quils, Porcupines can release a bad smell to deter predators.
Aleu, Dingo, and Miki put their paws over their noses. "Aleu chuckled. "Porcupines can give off a bad smell to protect themselves if they feel threatened and their quils don't deter whatever is threatening them."

Danielle whimpered a little as she covered her nose and Scout pulled out the last quill.
Rose pulled out all of Ana's quills before shw quickly covered her nose too. "There you go. All clean," she told Ana.
"I suggest moving to another part of town and away from this smell," Scout said.

Aleu nodded. "At least its not as bad as a skunk." she said, watching the porcupine turning up its nose and going back into its sleep.
Ana buried her nose in Rose's fur. "I didn't know Porcupines could be stinky Rosie."
