You have a point, if Balto died, depending on the movie, the series or any idea of making a sequel would be completely and totally destroyed. Even if another character would be made up, if Balto himself wouldn't be in the film, than it would make no since, and it wouldn't be very successful, probably not successful at all.

I'm not sure, I'll have to see for my self. lol

And you have a valid point here too. If it's well executed it could work out. Like if a character died of old age or exhaustion from and injury or something like that, it wouldn't be too much of a bummer for the reader or the watcher.

Once again,I agree with you.Plus,I prefer it if he dies in an accident or something in these type of fics such as 'proud of your boy" from juuchan17 since when you're very old, you have numerous restictions such as arthritis.I'm ok with it as long as it has a good meaning or as an alternate type of story. If you read the "proud of your boy"fic from Juuchan17,you'll get my meaning. No offence to those who have different opinions

I kind of get what you're saying, kichegrey, but if balto died in any of the movies, there would be no need to continue them. If they were continued you might as well give the movies a different name because the main character would be out of the picture.

Well then it wouldn't be called "Balto" anymore. It would be a different story.
