XD XD The one time I was bullied for liking Balto was years ago in Elementary School, 4th or 5th Grade, when all I drew or wrote were crappy Balto stuff. This one kid announced it all to the class. I didn't do anything lol.

Same, but I've never actually told any of my friends, apart from two that's all, I told my best friend about Balto and this site, and she joined too. Not long after me actually, (well my most recent account here on Balto Source), she prefers Lion King Source now I think, but I honestly prefer Balto Source. Anyhoo, no, I don't talk about it much either anymore, I just prefer to be a fan of Balto and not talk about eet; my sister also likes the movies but she isn't fussed about having an account here *shrug*

I wouldn't say I was given a hard time over it, because I chose to keep it a secret to everyone, except my mom. I had to talk to someone because it was such a weird experience for me, falling in love with a cartoon dog... Doesn't get much wierder than that. I literally thought about balto and jenna all day every day, for about a month. Eventually I did grow out of it, but talking to someone really did help a lot but I don't have the type of friends I can talk to about something like this.

Alrighty, I know I've answered this plenty of times before but here's a TRUE statement:
Now, I've gone a lot of places and met a lot of people while openly telling them that I was a huge fan of Balto. Through this, I have gotten a lot a phrase for it and well as social acceptance. I mean, it's not that hard to openly admit that you're a Balto fan to the general public as much as it would be to admit you're a brony to your own family. Now, although I've gotten a lot of positive support about my fandom IRL, I've gotten a lot of negative reception for it online. Mostly on Animation Source. (Don't flame me, people. I'm merely being honest.)
Now, I'll admit, a lot of the negative attention I received on this source was because of my naive lusts to see Balto 4 actually become a real movie. However, other incidents were because of users on this site that would over analyse simple topics that should have been enjoyable to talk about. I would constantly be flamed by users that took either too much pride in making this site as straight-laced as possible or who just didn't like to have fun in cartoon websites.
Through this site I feel like my enthusiasm for Balto dropped significantly simply because of the so-called fans I've had to deal with. However, through many run ins and incidents, I am still willing to always support Balto and that fandom under his name despite the backlash I'll receive from other users.

Wow, that's kind of bad for you guys.
I've mentioned Balto in the past, but no one ever seems to understand what it is. It's seems like down here in "Weird Florida" no one has any clue what Balto is. I'm also obsessed with wolves, everyone knows, but no one seems to have a problem with it, of course, no one seems to. People talk behind my back all the time, most likely.
