Let me start off by saying Nintendo most likly will pull from the console wars IF the WII fails. I'm not saying they are going to do great, I'm not saying they are going to suck. No one here can say one way or another who is going to win this. The PS3 may rock or it may not.

But I am tired of hearing people bash one another. Fact is no one can talk smack about the other console because you know what none of the consoles are perfact.

Most of my idea ythat ps3 will fail is the mass amounts of people swearing at sony for al the stuff they have done. Forums..tv..internet..it sometimes got ugly.

But I've seen alot of places saying it'll do good. And I've been looking at PS3 fourms and have not seen anyone saying stuff like that.

Its the PS3 forums..the people mad at sony wont go there. I mean..right now Sony made more enemies than you can imagine. Stealing ideas from nintendo, and from microsoft. Not to mention pricepoint. (I know people flipped on that) The fact that there will be no rumble. I know those things got people like insanly mad.

Rumble might be the reason i wont get PS3. No system since like N64 has gone without rumble.

So why are they mad at Sony?

Price, not being able to use their brians, people still mad about the widespread Disk Read Error. Recycling the PSP console screen, Not showing Killzone 2 at this years E3. Making Tekken 6 look amazing last year and then showed up with a game that looke dlike off the dreamcast.

That stuff.

Well you have some points there I really only can feel the frist one. I've never had the disk read error(I presume your talking about the PS2), I have not heard about the PSP thing, and the last two games I dont play.

About the price, it's going to scare off a good amount of people but the die hard Sony fans, and RPG fans will be waiting in line some 48hrs. Lol

But I can see most people rejoining when the price comes down.

Im not saying its just the games. People r presuming that sonyt didnt show killzone cuz it didnt look good like they were showing, they presumed this after seing Tekken. Oh yeah i forgot..people are mad at sony for lying and makign their graphics seeming so amazing that nothing could ever touch them.

Unless its a really early price drop...that just means its not selling.

They cant do that, it'll cost too much. They are going to lose a good bit of money for the console, make some back with the games then they will dropp the price. Mabe 3 years time, b/c the cost to build a PS3 will drop alot.

Of course the price drop all depends on if blu-ray fails or not. If it does well then it will end up dropping after a while. If it dosnt take off, then they will drop sooner.

I dont know Blu-Ray could be the next DVD. Lol But anyway it'll follow the DVD in terms of being expensive but people may warm up to it.

Thats whats sny is hoping, byut Blu ray is gonna be more expensive than HD-DVD so im not sure.

Well when the DVD came out it was more expensive then tapes. So it could happen, it's just a matter of finding ways to make it cost less.

But Dvd has the market..and it has HD-DVD..so im thikning people wil hear DVD in the name and rather get it. Since theres right now DVD..HDDVD and Bluray fighting.

Ok I'm really confused...is Blu-ray just a new type of disk or does it also imply a new type of lazer?

And I believe (this is purely my opinion) that the people who are mad at Sony, are mad because of the mistakes Sony made with the PS3 controller...but that's just what I THINK. I could be wrong...
