No, but he's the head of the "Universal Home Family Entertainment" division.

One thing that gets me about the response: Quote: We really like the Balto character and are pleased to know that there are people like you out there that are such big fans.
That's good to hear, really. Glenn Ross didn't simply say, "Not enough people bought WoC so we're giving up on the franchise." He said, "We like Balto too. We're interested in a sequel but not unless we know it'll be successful." Even after failing in the box office, Universal still likes the franchise enough to re-release it in some way every 5-6 years: 1996 release, 2002 DVD/VHS, and 2007 Animated Family Favorites pack.

Yeah, if they even have that much faith in Balto. It's good that they're supporting it and all.

Of course, did you seriously expect them to say that? They don't want to give a bad impression, you will never see these guys being really negative, especially to fans. I prefer to concentrate on facts, and no, I'm sorry but I know of many films that "failed" at the box office, and still gets much better treatment. Do you REALLY think that getting only a little pack with 2 other films in 3 years is a good treatment?...Just look at what 20th fox is doing, by releasing special edition dvds of their animated films, and even films from MGM/Sony such as Brisby or The last unicorn...

His sequel was released in 2005-2006, more than 40 years between them. I now that the most Balto fans want an Balto 4 now, but it will be come, a little late for our age maby, but it will come!!!!!

The difference is that Balto already has 2 sequels which didn't sell as well as Universal expected. Not to mention that Universal don't have the same sense of marketing as Disney.
