Rikkes smiled slightly, "I'd be up to listening if you really want to tell, but I do think you do need a bit more safety and happiness in your life." he said lightly.

Racheal looked over, no certain expression. It looked more like she had a mixed emotion. Something confused, hurt, and angry all molded into one. "Happiness." She said with a grin. "I never thought a word like that even existed." She said and shook her head. "All my life has been filled with pain and suffer. I grew up knowing if your not ready, stay home. Since I didn't have a home, I had to muscle my way into this world. And I'll muscle my way out." She said, shaking her head. "But anyway, I'll tell you the history after we get back to-" A man stepped out in front of her. "Racheal." He said with a smile. Racheal's whole demeanor changed.
"Prince." She said simply.
"Still haven't changed a bit. Still pretty as a flower."
Racheal rolled her eyes. "Whatever, still a flirt, still not interested, go away." She said, glaring at him. Prince Nuada chuckled and pulled her into a hug before walking away. Racheal let out a deep breath, she didn't like him.

Rikkes raised an eyebrow and smiled, "Gee, you seem to know just about everyone... everywhere we go." he said. He glanced after the 'prince.' "after we get back to where?" he asked, as she hadn't finished her sentence.

Racheal shook her head with a grin. "I don't know everyone, everyone knows me." She said stopped and snatching a picture of herself off of the side of a small fruit stand. She shook her head. "They've been looking for me." She said and shook her head. "Pity." She looked over at him. "After we get back to Kailen's place." She said and looked over at her brother, who was now walking ahead of them both and towards his home just a few more feet away.

Rikkes nodded, looking at the poster in her hand, he smiled, "They did a good job portraying you though... good artist." he said, "and I never doubted that everyone knew you, you're pretty noticeable.

Racheal nodded and shrugged her arms. "I hate being drawn." She said before slipping the poster in her pocket. "They never get the eyes right." She said and blinked, finally coming to Kailen's house. What she didn't know is that he wasn't living by himself. Kailen actually had a maid living with him! He already had dinner set out but he needed to add more meat to the plate. Racheal looked over at him. "Okay, would you like to hear the story now or later?" She asked, wanting to tell it and get everything done with.

Rikkes shrugged, glancing around the home, "Whatever you want, I don't mind either." he said, his eyes returning to her. "I can hear it now, as I'm curious, or it could wait, cuzz I can be patient and let you try and settle in a bit- whatever."

Racheal took a deep breath and shrugged her shoulers, "Don't look at me any different after I tell you this." She said and looked around. Kailen and the maid sat down next to Racheal, wanting to know more about her past as well. "When I was a baby, my parents died from some illness that was spreading around. Shortly after, I was sent to live with my aunt. Growing up with her, I wasn't always so quiet, in fact I was a loud mouth." She said with a grin. "Hard to believe I know." She said. "I spent some of my teen life in a prison, they had put me there for starting a fight with King Balor. They were actually supposed to kill me but he took pity for some reason." She paused. "I was beaten so bad and treated poorly in that 'jail'. People would walk by with sharp sticks and jab them at me, they'd throw stuff at me, and a lot of other things. But see, things were way more uncivilized back when I was young. Once in a while a nice villager would slip me an apple or two while the guards weren't looking. But one day I just got really tired of all the abuse and such and when the next person came at me with a stick I grabbed them through the bars and actually killed him." She shook her head. "Everyone deamed me dangerous and had a chain tied around my neck and shackles on my wrists so I couldn't run off. Then came the starvation. I went days without eating anything and when I finally did, it was either moldy or tasteless." She took a deep breath. "I'd get water but only if I earned it. My aunt actually stopped by once but only to offer the guards she remove two tumors growing between my shoulder blades and banish me to the above world." Racheal took another deep breath, her voice slow and smooth. "They took a sharp sword, driving it deep into my tumors, where they attached to me anyway. They twisted and twisted and cut through the skin and muscle, ripping it off without a second thought. I've got the scars between my shoulder blades." She said, no sympathy for herself. "It stopped bleeding a day or two after. When they finally set me free, which was a few months later, I was bone thin. Every rib in my chest was showing and the chain had cut deep into my neck, nearly killing me." She said. "I survived though, staggering out onto the above world. I swore then and there that I'd try and at least stop the underground city from taking over." Racheal said and looked over at everyone. She didn't care about what had happened to her. She glanced over at the maid who was crying quietly. She looked back at Rikkes, "There you have it. My life story." She said and sat back.

Rikkes nodded thoughtfully, he didn't say he was sorry, he didn't look at her with sympathy, he didn't say she was a monster. He only nodded and said nothing, knowing that saying something wouldn't do anything to change the past.

Kailen looked over at his sister, wiping away a tear that was sliding down his face. "Okay, enough sadness for one day." He said, trying to be upbeat and happy again. He brought Rikkes and Racheal their plate of food that the maid had made for them, he and the made were sitting down at the table eating. Racheal was eating in the living room, eating like she hadn't ever eaten before, since it had been a while before. Kailen looked over at her, "Racheal easy." He said with a grin. Racheal nodded, slowing down so she wouldn't choke herself. Kailen knew that meat was still pink in the middle, but that's how Racheal liked it.

Rikkes thanked Kailen for the meal and started to eat slowly, enjoying the food and flavor. It was pretty darn good and he said so, "My compliments to the cook." He smiled at the maid.

The maid smiled and thanked him. Racheal sat the plate down, she was always done before everyone else. She lay her head back on the couch and sighed. "Thank you Kailen, maid, whatever your name is." She said, looking at the roof. The maid nodded, "My name is Elizabeth." She said softly, smiling at her. Racheal shrugged. "Can I call you Liz?" She asked. The maid again nodded, "Yup."

Rikkes smiled, finishing and standing, "Where's the kitchen, I'll take care of my plate." he offered, glancing around, he hadn't exactly been given the 'tour' yet and wasn't sure if he was to expect one.

The maid stood up after finishing her meal and took his plate, she picked up Racheal's plate too. "I'll take care of it sir." She said, also taking Kailen's plate before dissapearing around the corner into the kitchen. She smiled as she did the dishes. Suddenly there was a knock at the door, Racheal let her brother answer it. Prince Nuada was in the doorway. Kailen knelt down to his superior and smiled, inviting him inside. Racheal sat up and rolled her eyes. "Ugh!" She groaned. "What'd you let him in for?" She asked, turning away from him. Prince Nuada stepped over to her. "My father wishes to see you. Something about unfinished business?" He said with a cocky smile. Racheal rolled her eyes, "Whatever, I'll be there in about 10 minutes." She said, laying her head back down. "Now." He said before turning briskly and leaving. Racheal rolled her eyes again.

Rikkes raised an eyebrow, "Wasn't the point to avoid the king." having guessed that was what the 'prince' was talking about, as his father could only be the king. This impossible rumble of events in one day made him want to sit in peace, for just one moment, in total and utter silence.
