I loved how Astrid whacked Snotlout with a bone hand.... over and over! Lol! Me and my friend who watched it were cracking up laughing! And I literally shed a few tears at the end from when Stoick said "Open it" to the last lines Hiccup said. I'm so glad they mentioned the mother! I've never cried over anything (Trust me. anything) in my life except two things: HTTYD and the end of this episode. When Trader Yohon (I know I spelt that wrong) said it was from Hiccup's mother, I almost burst out in tears! That one was probably one of my least favorites. Hiccup was way too dramatic. And then the part where astrid convinced everyone to stay and help, *shivers* that was totally not realistic.

I dunno about finding other night furies. Sure, it would be cool and Toothless won't be the only one anymore (probably the reason people say 'it'll ruin everything', cause he won't be 'special' or 'rare' anymore to most), but... I dunno. I kinda got used to the idea that Hiccup and Toothless were always going to be together. I'm a bit concerned if they do find other night furies, they'll try and make the plot something like Toothless wanting to stay with them rather than Hiccup? I dunno. Either way, it'll be interesting all the same.

maybe toothless will die and hiccup has to choose to either get a new dragon or honor toothless' memory by not replacing him.

...I don't think Toothless will die. As far as animations go, they never kill the main characters. And if they do, they're never actually dead. And with two other movies coming up I highly doubt that they'll kill Toothless off.

Lord of the rings reference. But you are probably right. Considering they are trying to milk every penny out of this franchise.

Well, it's not like that's anything new. And if it's doing well, they have every (intelligent) right.

I totally agree with BAIKAL! Toothless wouldn't be the only one anymore. He wouldn't be as special.
And Army, if you lost your mother when you were 4 and didn't remember anything about her, but there was something out there that could help you remember her again, wouldn't you stop at nothing to find it? Think about that. And Astrid likes/loves Hiccup, I think she would've tried to get them to stay and help.
