John ~
He yawned, after eating he went to the bathroom. He grabbed a quick shower and walked outside. Towel thered around his waste. He walked to the front door and let the babysitter out. Some reporter guy snapped John's photo. Just his luck.

Blade finished and begged to go out and work with his horse. Magic finally agreed and he ran out to the stable. he got the mare out again and smiled at her. He walked her around, just bonding with his new partner.

Magic cleaned up. She sat in the living room and read a book. She had to work tomorrow in town at the New York Times office. She was chief editor now, so she would be there late. She sighed.

John ~
The next time he grabbed the paper off the porch, it had his photo on there. A man with just a towel on, letting a babysitter with her head down and a big smile out of the house. John looked at the paper and it infuriated him. That was nothing of what it had looked like.

Blade talked with the mare, telling her everything. She seemed to understand him and gazed at him with understanding, intelligent eyes. She nuzzled his shoulder as if to say 'I understand.' he smiled and patted her nose. He would be okay now. He had a home again. His father had never really been a father to him anyway.

John::
Moments later he got a phone call. His friend was hysterical. He tried to calm her down. Listen. Listen! Breath. Now tell me whats wrong. He said and listened in on her voice, 'Gone!' she said and cried. John shook his head, trying to figure out what she was talking about. I'll be over in a minute. He said and hurried to get his shoes on. He got in his truck, driving down to his friend's house. He opened the door and looked in, she fell all over him. Sobbing. Whats wrong? He asked firm. She replied between sniffles, 'He came and took my daughter away from me!' John sighed and hugged her. Sitting her down and getting her some water and tissues. Who took her away? The woman replied, 'Her father.' John shook his head. He called the farmer's daughter and had her hurry over to watch Marleen for a minute or two.

Blade sighed, he leaned against the fence and watched Tink, he led her towards the field with the other horses and turned her loose, she kicked up her heals and he laughed as she ran around.

John::
When the woman started crying again, John sighed. He held out his arms. C'mere. He said and pulled the woman onto his lap, he cradled her like a baby. Talking gently to her, getting her to calm down.

Blade walked back to the house, his new 'mother' though he was unsure if he'd ever call her that- it was a bit to late for that- was sitting on the couch. She had her little fox/ dog in her lap. He tried to recall its name, but couldn't. He sat down on the other end of the couch, it would take a while to get used to her, but that was okay he supposed.

Blade sighed, looking at the TV, it was black. "Where am I going to live?" he asked. "Wherever you wish." Magic replied. "Can I live in the barn?" he asked, the looked at him for a moment. She shrugged, "Sure.' she said simply. 'If that's what you want." she added.

John::
He parked in the truck and decided to walk around a little bit. He saw some girl with her head down, she was an orphan and was standing in the middle of the street! John saw a car speed down the street, the girl gasping. John bolted for her, grabbing her by her waist and held her out of the car's way. She struggled and fought away from him, 'Lemme go!' she said and John let her go, putting his hands up. Okay, okay, okay relax. He said and shrugged. Just trying to help. He said, Tabitha looked at him, 'I didn't need your help dad!' She said and covered her mouth. She didn't mean to call him dad. John looked at the ground and then back at her.

Blade stood, he walked back outside and into the barn, there was two empty stalls and so, he set up one for Tink and one for himself, he smiled and made a makeshift cot, he knew his 'mother' would get him a bed of some sort, he went to catch Tink.

John::
John. He said and shook her hand. He looked her over. Hungry? He said and Tabitha shrugged. John nodded some. C'mon. He said and walked to the restaurant, sitting down with her.

Tink trotted right over to Blade when he called her name, he smiled and clipped on the lead rope and led her back into the barn, he lay down on his cot and looked up at her, she was looking down at him from her stall, he smiled and held a hand up, she sniffed it and he rubbed her forehead.

John::
After they had lunch, John payed and walked into the parking lot. Towards his truck, he got in, Tabitha had followed. 'Hey! You just can't leave me.' Well, get in. He said but Tabitha folded her arms. 'You have to come to the orphanage and fill out paper work!'. Alright, alright, chill! He said and walked to the orphanage, he filled out the paper work. Tabitha folded her arms. C'mon, lets go. He said and waited for her. She folded her arms tighter. Fine. He said and walked to his truck. Getting in, Tabitha stood on the other side of the passenger door. Coming? 'Aren't you going to open the door for me?' she asked smartly. John shook his head and mumbled, Marleen is going to be my favorite I can tell. Just get in. He said, Tabitha still rebelling. That's a shame. He said and began backing out, Tabitha hurried and grabbed the door, opening it and jumping in. Putting her seat belt on.
