Kat did with much ease, looking to the skies for direction. The question suddenly hit her, "Oh yeah." She said, keeping her eyes on the clouds.
"What;s with your past?" She asked, "You told me last night that you'd tell me in the morning. Well its past morning." Kat said easily.

Ian stiffened, but continued riding his horse, eyes locked ahead.
"What does it matter to you?" He grunted in reply.

"It interests me." Kat said flatly, "Tell you what, if you tell me about your past, i'll tell you mine...The REAL story of my past." Kat insisted.

ooc: You on spring break or something? C:

Ian sighed, rolling his shoulders back.
"Take turns, you go first. Tell me something about it, vice versa..?"

ooc: No. Had a shortened day, CSTs are going on t the moment.

Kat bit her lip, "Fine." She said.
"I'm not really from Dublin, I'm from St. Helen's. In Northern England. There, your turn." Kat said eagerly.

ooc: Ahh I see x3

Ian sighed.
"I'm from St. Andrews Scotland." He answered dryly.

Kat nodded, "Ahh...well, my childhood was pretty standard...I guess until I was 10. I lost my brother to the Black Death...Then my parents were killed in a fire and I...Yeah..." Kat said bitterly, looking at her horse's mane. "Then I started stealing...To stay alive, I guess." She added.

"My mother died when giving birth to my younger brother, and my dad was killed in combat. I don't know where my brother is, I left to go find some work..And well, got in a fight with some guards, queen said "i had potential"."

"Huh," Kat said, shocked at the simplicity of it all. Just like that, and he was enslaved for life. Kat frowned a bit, knowing Ian couldn't see her, "Well, that's cool." She said softly.

"I see nothing Cool about it." Ian huffed back, steering his horse out of the way of a tree.

"Sorry...I guess I'm dissapointed. You seemed like so much more." Kat said bluntly, not realizing she said something offensive.

"well i murdered half my town, that's why I ran into the guards." Ian scoffed irritably.

"Why'd you kill them?" Kat asked curiously.

"Stress, and they believed my brother carried some sort of disease, and wanted to kill him." Ian said sadly, glancing up at the sky.

Kat stalled her horse, looking back at Ian. He seemed to always be hiding something, another face that he could never show lurking under his tough exterior.
"You care for your brother a lot." She assumed, "Why'd you loose touch?" She asked.
