Totanka shied away from the horses hoofs, running along the two-leg huts. he had to find someone who could save his master

Jaguar Paw:
I sat up. My wife groaned and said sacastically,

His wife:
Now that your up, kill that dog. I said and tried to find a comfy position. The Dog. I groanded while he had gotten up and walked outside.
______________

Totonka ran up to Jaguar Paw, barking.

Jaguar Paw:
Why must you bark? I said irritated and very sleepy. I followed him to whyere he wanted me to go. Keeping my eye on Obsidian Rock, hoping I wouldn't have to fight him again.
______________

Totanka lead him out of the camp and pointed the the wagon rut tracks dug into the earth, he 'pointed' down the road and barked once.

Smiles A Lot struggled with his bonds.

Jaguar Paw:
I hoped on my horse and followed the tracks. Seeing Smiles-A-Lot and hurrying to rush over and help him. I cut the bonds and hoisted him up onto my horse.
______________

"Thank you." Smiles A Lot said to Jaguar Paw, smiling gratefully. When the got back he told his father; his father called everyone to council.

"This has gone to far!" His father said. There were many murmurs of agreement. "I hate to say it, but after they tried something like this, there is no peaceful attempt, we have to make it clear that this is our land, and our people aren't to be messed with." he added. Smiles A Lot looked at his feet.

"I think everyone is overreacting, I was the one captured, yet I seem to be the only one who just wants to leave these 'white' men alone, we are no savages as they think we are, if we do this, it'll cause pain for many years." Smiles A Lot said, looking around the large room, several of the elders nodded, most shook their heads, it was obvious they were tired of waiting. They wanted to attack the white men.

Obsidian Rock:
I say we rid the valley of them! Jaguar Paw, Zero Wolf, Jaguar Paw's wife, Turtles run, and many others seemed to agree more with me. Could it have been out of fear they agreed?
______________

Smiles A Lot's father nodded, "I am the religious leader, I say we fight, rid our land of their filth." he said.

Smiles A Lot sighed, he knew there would be no changing their minds now, his father stood.

"Ready your steeds, we are going to war!" His father exclaimed, the room emptied as the men let out woops and war cries. Smiles A Lot stood, he may as well join in, otherwise he would be regarded as worthless, not a warrior. He got his bow from the teepee and swung onto Flame's back.

Jaguar Paw:
You and Turtles run stay here. I said to my wife before kissing her and jumping onto Indian's back. I got my weapon ready.

Zero Wolf:
I hoped on River and got my knife ready, I was going to prove my worth to my father and have him think well of me. I saw my dad mount Battle Cry and ride up beside me.
______________

Smiles A Lot rode to Jaguar Paw's side, "Good luck." he said, clasping his arm for a moment, then kicking Flame forward. He rode up to his father.

Jaguar Paw:
I nodded once before riding up a little closer. Soon I was right beside Obsidian Rock and we were waiting to give these people the worse time of their life they ever had.
______________

As they approached they settlement, Smiles A Lot pulled back, his father gave a shout, and they surged forward.

Zero Wolf & Obsidian Rock:
We kicked our horses hard. Making them run forward, we had our weapons ready. Obsidian Rock clutched his knife and waited.
______________

Smiles A Lot drew his bow and 'loaded' and arrow, he closed one eye, aimed and fired, a man's body fell. Smiles A Lot was suddenly hit by a wave of pain in his shoulder, when he looked at it, he found a bullet hole there. He grimaced and pulled Flame to a stop.
