She read it and looked around. She rote back, no one knew she could. She wrote,
Your not a dog, your a wolf. If you were a dog you wouldn't be called a wolf. I don't think I'll come visit, mom says that I'd better just stay near the pack. Sorry but I'm listing to mom. I don't want any of that fancy stuff your talking about. She stamped it with her tiny paw and sent it back.

Arwen could read, she had learned to in the zoo out of boredom. She read it and looked up at him laughing. "Okay, if you say so.." she said, copying it down carefully.
Hello Arwen, I am River, your boyfriend.

River
i just had a little smile and said:
You will grow up to be like your mom. Just remember to not get near boys unless your mom approves. Anyways, i have to go. I am teaching my girlfriend how to write and i am showing Scar how to properly kill a buffalo. Well, by sweetie, and happy birthday, write to me back whenever you can tomorrow.

Angel:
She read it but didn't write back. She didn't smile or anything, how could her father be tamed by the one creature who was making their kind extinct. She tore up the letter and burried it. Far away from the pack. She went back to bed.

The next morning...

River
i smiled at Arwen and said: well, i guess your done. i smiled really big and said : wanna go do something fun like go up the mountains or swim in the lake water? I was hopping she would actually do something instead of lay down like Maddie would.
Scar
I walked around the old territory and saw Angel, i walked towrd her. happy bday sister, or so friend. I smiled and said: i know what happened in the old pack. My parents and your parents died. You saved me too so thank you for that, but i trusted you all these months, and you lied? . I just said: well, happy bday sister. This is your time to have fun, i smiled and walked around: i went to maddie and smiled.

Maddie: She smiled and gently kissed the sleeping Angel on the head. She went out a got 1 white flower. She weaved it together with three thin vines to make a small necklace for Angel. She smiled and wrapped in it a bear skin. The knots in the necklace was tight, not hardly breakable.


Angel: She still slept soundly.

Scar
hey mother i said as i went to Maddie. I smiled and said: i can do whatever i want mom. Dad doesn't know i am here, and he won't find out. i smiled and said: can you tell Angel i came and that i aid happy bday for her. i smiled and sang loudly as i walked slowly out of the den: Happy Biirthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Scar, happy birthday to you. i clapped for myself and got alot of flowers for myself and smelled them.

Maddie: Sure thing Scar. She grinned and placed the rapped present between to small rocks. Almost covering it, Maddie went out again and got a piece of moose. Moose was the sweetest kind of meat there was in Nevada. Maddie woke Angel up just as the sun crept quietly into the den. She gave her, her breakfast and began to start the day.

Arwen smiled, "Yeah, sure.. let's go!" she said and jumped to her feet. She trotted a few lengths, then looked back, "Coming?" she asked.

Mage tripped, a bull buffalo took advantage of the fall and charged him.

Skylar & Echo:
They both went out and got Angel a little doll someone must had lost. It was a small pale faced doll with red hair and a small dress. They rapped it in rabbit skin and placed it with behind a small tree just in the center of the pack.

Night
i jumped on the bull buffalo and bit his neck till he fell, i had some help with Blood and i ate some of it. it was really good, SO GOOD! I smiled and walked away.
Scar
i gave her a chew toy for a presant and got her a doll too. it was ragetty and it said: Scar with the presant. River's presant was a picture of the hole family together in a picture.
River
sure! i jumped along and started to run after her with a jog that i caught up to her, i saw the clearing of the lake and ran faster, passing Arwen.

Romeo & Samantha:
They walked to a humans house and peered through the window. There were presserved butterflied in a jar. They snatched it and came back, they wrapped it in deer hide and hid it in a freshly planted patch of flowers the pack had found and planted.

Arwen sped after her, laughter escaping from her, she bounded into the water and swam in deep, she turned and swam back towards River, enjoying the coolness of the water. She yipped and smiled and him.

Scar
I smiled and told maddie this was for angel. i walked away to my home and i saw nothing there for me. I just smiled and said: good to be home. i saw candle lights and lights again. It was a celebration! i smiled and walked around. I had my new armor and crown on me and i just walked around.

Maddie:
She hugged Scar and wrapped his presents for Angel. she hid them just like the rest of the other presents. She let Samantha take Angel out for a little stroll while everyone got everything situated. She invited Angel's 12 friends over and it soon became a party. Romeo, Skylar, and Echo got 2 moose and dragged it back, they put a big white flower on each one and going back to the humans. They saw three black bows for male dogs, they grabbed them and some collars with pink and white flowers on the side. Everyone slipped them on and waited for the birthday girl to return.
