Twilight sobbed, wrapping her hooves around Spike and returning his hug. "I... I..." she tried to speak but could manage it at all. She couldn't believe she'd hurt Spike, she'd NEVER intentionally hurt Spike or any of her friends. "Spike... It was horrible... I couldn't remember anything good you'd done for me, only the stuff that made me angry... I'm so sorry..." she sobbed, feeling well... violated. Like an alien force had forced it's way into her mind and tampered with her privite thoughts and feelings.
Applejack looked up at Applejack, now with a bloody nose, tears in her eyes. A thought occured to her. "I'm sorry about the apples I messed up and made you give away..." she said slowly. "I'm sorry about making fun of yah when the Poison Joke made yah tiny. I'm sorry about every bad thing I had ever done to you! I love you sis! I know the real you is in there, listen to me!"
"The greatest pony who ever lived wouldn't hit a little filly who looks up to her!" yelled Rainbow Dash. "The REAL Rainbow Dash is the coolest most awesome pony ever!"
Rarity staggered back then gasped. "Sweetie Belle... You... You used your magic..." she gasped, the rage being quieted by what her sister did. Sweetie Belle had never used magic before, she hadn't learned it and yet she just did. Rarity WANTED to feel proud for her sister. But her hatred told her to hate Sweetie Belle for hitting her, but how could she feel angry that her sister had finally used her magic for the first time. Rarity's eyes landed on the wounds her whipping had caused, shock and horror filling her face. "What have I... I'm going to get you for that!... No... I... I can't... I won't," said Rarity, eyes flickering between possessed and normal, her face between grief and rage as she clutched her head in her hooves. The hatred fought for control and Rarity's own mind tried to fight back.

Applebloom looked up at Applejack, blood running from her bloody nose. It hurt big time, she was pretty sure her nose was broken. "Sis, come on now, remember! This ain't you, you and I both know that. You ain't mean, you're the best big sister a filly could ask for. I'm proud you're my sister. Even if you can be stubborn sometimes, you're still my big sister and I love you."
"The real Rainbow Dash looks up to the Wonderbolts! The real Rainbow Dash is loyal to everypony who cares about her! Even if she's lazy sometimes, the real Rainbow Dash never lets her friends or her fans down! EVER!" said Scootaloo. She then noticed what had happened with the others... She got close and looked Rainbow in the eye. "But if "putting fillies in their place" is what a cool Pony would do... Then do it!" she yelled, closing her eyes and bracing herself to take a hit. She tried not to cry but couldn't hold back tears at the thought she was about to let her idol hurt her. "Come on! Be a cool pony if that's what you think it means! Just know the REAL Rainbow Dash would never hurt me on purpose!"
Rarity's Element of Generosity flashed, then shown brightly her memories rushing back to her. The Sisterhooves Social, baking applepie, playing together in the rain. The fact that everything Sweetie Belle had messed up had been FOR Rarity, even if it didn't turn out right. Remembering the day Sweetie Belle was born, how it felt to see her baby sister for the first time.
Rarity screamed out in agony, the shadow being forced out and sent flying out of her body as Ruin's eyes went wide in shock.
Rarity panted, staggering dizzly, sweat drippling from her brow. She staggered forwards, barely keeping herself standing, and hugged her little sister, tears welling up in her eyes. "Sweetie Belle... I'm sorry... Big sister is sorry..." she cried, tears of remorse streaming down her face as she choked back sobs. "I'm sorry I hit you... I swear I shall never lay a hoof on you ever a again... I'm sorry for all the mean things I said to you, I don't care if you mess up sometimes, you're my baby sister and I love you, mother and father love you... I'm so sorry Sweetie Belle..."
The overshadowed Fluttershy sneered. "Probably lost her little Smartypants doll, better watch out before she brainwashes the town again!"
Twilight took a step back, a look of pure angish on her face. "P-Pinkie Pie... F-Fluttershy..." she said, somehow crying harder. "Not again... Please... Please not again..." she muttered, shaking her head frantically as Fluttershy joined in laughing. Memory of the Discord incident, of her friends acting like complete jerks to her, bullying and laughing at her. It was happening again! "Stop it... P-please stop laughing at me..." she begged, tears streaming down her face.
OOC: It's offical, we've performed Break The Cutie on the mane cast more effectively than some entire fanfics in the first nine or so pages.

Applebloom looked up at her sister. "Remember Sweet Apple Achres! Granny Smith, Big Macintosh! They all love you too! A lot of ponies care about you sis! Please..." she said, tears in her eyes as she struggled to her feet but her right from leg hurt a lot. "Please try to remember!"
Scootaloo got back to her geet, her forehead busted open and blood trickling down her face. "I'm not dumb! I'm smart enough to run your fanclub, aren't I?!" she asked, growing. "I FOUNDED your fanclub! Could a dumb loser do that?!"
Fluttershy laughed as well. "Oh and remember the Winter Wrap Up?!"
Twilight broke down in tears, curling up on the ground, hooves over her ears, flashbacks from the Discord incident running through her head. "Stop laughing at me! Stop it!" she begged. "P-Please stop it! I can't take this again!... Not again..."
Rarity looked down at her sister. "Sweetie Belle... I'm so proud of you. I'm just sorry the first time you used that magic was to protect yourself from... from me..." she sobbed, tears running freely.

"Sis... Please..." said Applebloom, tears, in her eyes. She tried to stand up but fell with a cry of pain, clutching her wounded leg, blood still running from her broken nose. "Please fight it sis," she said, trying to stop the bleeding in some way but failing. "... Snap out of it! For both our sakes! Please! For Granny Smith and Big Macintosh's too! If you don't snap out of it, what do you think that monster is gonna do to them and Ponyville?! You gonna lie to yourself and forget they matter to you?!"
Scootaloo looked up, wiping blood so it didn't run into her eyes. "I FOUNDED your fanclub, by myself! Because I think you're the most awesome Pony there is!" she stated. "Or you USED to be..." she said, looking down. "I was your biggest fan BEFORE you saved the world! But what's the use being so loyal to you if you're just going to turn your flank on every pony who looks up to you!"
"She's the one that got us brainwashed by that big dumb meanie in the first place! Twist and turns were his plan, she was too dumb to see she lead us into his trap!" retorted the corrupted Fluttershy, bitterly
Twilight was beginning to turn grey. "Not again... Please not again..." she said, tears streaming down her face as the grey began to spread across her body.
Ruin snarled. "You rotten little Dragon, you've ruined my perfect plan! Now I'm going to have to drive her into depress I guess, that should work just as well," he said, smirking. "Shadow, strangle the little runt to death, and make sure little Twilight sees it!" he ordered, the Shadow letting out an evil laugh and leaping for Spike.

Applebloom saw this happen and drug herself over to Applejack. "Sis? Sis are you... Are you you again?"
"I'm not the only one who looks up to you! Every foal in Ponyville looks up to you!" continued Scootaloo. "And now you're spitting in their face! And look around you! Your friends are being hurt! But do you even care?!"
Ruin snarled. He looked to Rarity's shadow. "Get the little one."
Rarity was about to rush to help Spike, but saw her own shadow rushing for Sweetie Belle. Without thinking, she grabbed it with telekinesis and sent it flying, then leapt in front of her sister. "I will not allow you to lay one of your filfthy hooves on my little sister!" she yelled, lifting class shards from the broken windows and firing them into the shadow, actually wounding it.
"Spike?!" asked Twilight, hearing his call for help as her eyes flew open. She saw him being choked by the shadow and gave a gasp of fright. She felt something well up inside her. Next thing anyone knew, the shadow was propelled like a rocket straight through the nearest wall by a burst of telekinesis.
Twilight leapt between Spike and the shadow, glaring daggers at the shadow, though she didn't seem angry, at least not outwardly angry, more like a scary, tranquil angry The greying of her fur slowly vanished, returning back to it's proper color. Spike was her oldest friend, she'd raised him. She'd never said so, but in a way, he was her SON. No way in hay was she going to let this monster kill him. "Do whatever you want to to me, but YOU. DO. NOT. TOUCH. MY. ASSISTANT!" she stated, dead serious, horn lighting up brightly as her eyes glowed white, a pink aura surrounding her entire body. The shadow was then grabbed by telekinesis and violently tossed about like a ragdoll, driven through anything hard and painful to be found before being lifted high into the air and slammed into the ground with enough force to make a crater. Huge chunks of the ground were ripped loose and slammed down on it next. Twilight's horn lit up brightly and a beam of light shot out, causing a sizeable explosion on impact with the shadow, complete with a minture mushroom cloud.
As rock and dust settled, Twilight swayed dizzily, the aura fading as she panted heavily. Even she didn't know how she'd done that, it was all on instinct. She was pretty sure she didn't even KNOW that light spell. She fell to her knees, feeling more than a little disorintated from her power going out of control again.
Ruin watched Twilight's now severely wounded shadow slither back into his body to heal, eyes wide. "That... that's not possible... How could she hurt the shadow like that? Her hatred should of..." he said, in complete disbelief.

Applebloom curled up next to her sister and nuzzled her. "Sis... Sis, it's alright," she said, tears in her eyes. She tried again to stop her nose bleed, but was having little success, though it wasn't bleeding AS bad.
Scootaloo rushed to Rainbow. "Rainbow Dash, are you alright?" she asked, concerned, that looked like it REALLY hurt.
Twilight openned her eyes, looking up at Spike. "Spike?" she asked, panting as she rose her head, looking at him with concerned. "Are you alright? I was just so scared when I heard you call out for help... I guess I might have gone just a little berserk," she said, looking at the crater and general destruction she'd caused. "But I was just so scared of losing you..."
Rarity snarled. "Sweetie Belle, stay behind me!" she called, taking a battle stance and sending another barrage of glass shards through the shadow, sending it crashing to the ground, it whimpered like a scolded dog and retreated. Rarity turned and hugged her little sister. "Sweetie Belle, are you alright?" she asked, worry clear in her tone, tears still clinging to her eyes.

Applebloom nuzzled her big sis. "It's alright, sis, I know yah didn't mean it, I'm just happy you're back to normal," she said, looking up at her sis, blood still running from her broken nose.
"Rainbow Dash, it's alright," said Scootaloo, wiping blood off her face. "I've done worse things to myself trying to earn a Cutie Mark, and I know you'd never hurt me on purpose, right?"
Twilight got back to her feet in time to see Ruin... Well pretty much do an impression of her when she found out what Pinkie's "Doozy" really was.
Ruin let out a roar of fury, his mane and tail bursting into shadowy flames as his eyes lit up blood red. "Not possible! You CAN'T break free! You can't! It's not possible!" he roared at Twilight in fury. "Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, destroy her! And by destroy her I mean kill her! Kill her dead now!"
Fluttershy still in Ruin's control, leapt on Twilight, bashing her in the face with her hoof, knocking her hard to the ground.

Twilight jumpped protectively over Spike as Fluttershy attacked her again. "Stop it! Don't you remember! We're friends!"
Rarity looked over, seeing the attack in progress. "Applejack! Rainbow Dash! Fluttershy and Pinkie are still under Ruin's spell!" she yelled, then rushed over, tackling Pinkie Pie. "Pinkamina Diana Pie! You know this isn't you! Snap out of it!"
Fluttershy turned, looking at Rainbow, snarling in rage. "Why are you so down now, Rainbow CRASH! You weren't this upset when you didn't notice me falling during the race, were you?! You're upset you hurt a little brat but not that you nearly got your best friend killed!" she yelled, overlooking the fact that without that, none of the group would have thier cutie marks and the Sonic Rainboom would never have happened at all.
OOC: Figured that'd DEFINITLY be one of the things Fluttershy would spout when in "hatred" mode.
