Max walked back outside. He was gonna go see the others, if they were alright, in case other mutants came back. He heard he last of Felix's statement, and watched sadly at their conversation. "Well, that's one less person I can trust..." he murmered to himself in a depressed manner.

Was she about to cry?! Scotty thought to himself when he heard her sniffle. He was a bit confused when she cut off after her eyes met his. Scotty kneeled down so he was at eye level with her. "You don't have to go..." he started, not wanting her to leave "I-I know what it's like to lose someone..." he replied, he knew how she felt. "but.. that's why we need other people... just to have more people we'd do anything for..."

Luca turned and looked at Max but remained next to Felix.

Felic nodded and sighed "Yeah, but what about when you loose those people who would die for you? And you want to take their place so bad that it hurts..." She clutched her stomach and got up "I'm leaving, goodbye Scotty" She said with a stern voice. Felix raised to her toes and kissed Scotty's cheek lightly. She then sprinted away, running so fast she knew no one would try to run after her.

"Yeah, but-" Scotty was cut off when she kissed his cheek, he blushed lightly and stared off after her when she sprinted off. He would've went after her, he knew he could've caught up with her... but she obviously didn't want people she cared about around. Maybe that was for the best anyway. Luca huffed and Scotty looked down at the dog who wagged his tail. "It was a goodbye kiss! Got it?" he blushed more but his dog still wagged his tail making the boy sigh.

Max walked closer to Scotty. "Well... that's one less person we can keep safe..." he looked down at his shoes, sadly. "If you don't hurry and let me fix that wound, you're gonna get it infected and your last time as a human will be even more miserable..." he looked up, "I'm not trying to be mean... but honestly, they will..."

Alfred nodded in agreement with Maxwell.
"Max's right. We need to get you cleaned up Scotty." He said, glancing back at the door to Arthur and his room, wondering if he should've followed.
"Oh, max and sorry about Arthur's temper.." He said quietly, before watching the brit come strolling out of his room. Arthur made no attempt to ask if Scotty was okay, or look at anyone, he simply strode over to the teapot and poured himself another cup. With a small huff he retreated back into the room.

"Ya..." Max said, "It's okay tho." he glanced at Alfred, "Felix... left."

I shook my head when Max said I needed to get cleaned up. I was heart broken, and I didn't even know why! "I need to go home... I can clean myself up there." I replied. I had a first aid kit and my older brother Ethan had showed me how to take care of wounds. With out waiting for their replies I signaled for Luca to follow me and he did. I started sprinting, hoping that they wouldn't follow and I sped down an alley, slowing to a walk. I didn't see the figure fall from the roof of a building, and land on the roof of an abandoned car.

"Hello again, Scott..." a voice behind me sneered. I froze, I'd never be able to forget that voice... the voice of my brother's murderer.

{Flashback}
I had been fifteen, I stood with my twenty three year old brother, Ethan, on the sidewalk in the dark. The rest of our family had been evacuated, all except us. "Stay quiet Scotty!" Ethan breathed. "I didn't say anything!" I muttered, hugging the wriggly black puppy I held in my arms. Ethan stiffened "Scotty... get outta here!" he whispered. "What?!" I asked. "Scotty run!" he repeated "Go now-" he was cut off when something grabbed his ankle and pulled him into the darkness. His screams filled the air "Scotty Ru-" he was cut off and everything went silent. "Ethan!" I cried into the darkness. "You best listen to your brother... and run Scott!" that voice sneered, I turned and ran.

I hesitantly looked over my shoulder, sitting perched on the top of the car was a mutant unlike any other. It was slim and pale, with shark like teeth, indentions where it's eyes should've been, and long metallic blades extending from it's knuckles on it's left hand.

"You've grown Scott!" it hissed casually.

"You here to finish me off?" I asked and it chuckled.

"Scott, I'm here to finish taking the things that matter most to you... like your brother..."

"What else do I have to lose?"

It shrugged "I suppose you'll have to find out!" it flashed a toothy grin and lept up onto the building and vanishing.

Max glanced at the others when Scotty ran away, "I think he wants to be alone for a while... maybe until the day he turns..." he went to go pack up his medical supplies tat he didn't need to use anymore.

Ooc: Is the mutant going after Felix?

Felix ran and ran until her legs felt stiff. She panted slightly and looked over her shoulder, he hadn't fallowed, GoodShe thought looking at the silver buildings that reflected the golden rays of light from the sun. Mutants hated heat and sunlight, summer was good, winter not so much. It was this time on day when all of the smaller mutants scuffled back into their little holes, they're blind eyes unseeing but their sensitive skin noting the change. Felix played with her ponytail and sighed, her deep brown eyes scanning for her apartment.

Luca had understood what the mutant was after, he whined and looked up at Scotty. Hurrying back and forth.

"What is it Luca?" Scotty asked looking down at his dog.

Luca growled and barked as he started sniffing about.

"Luca!" Scotty growled, confused.

The dog huffed and bolted off, the direction Felix had gone.

"Hey wait!" Scotty growled running after him.

Felix heard a chuckle and she twirled around, thinking it would be a human. She gasped as a mutant started walking toawrds her "Ah, yes, they girl that Scotty has eyes for" It hissed coming close to her. Felix unsheathed sword and held it steadily infront of her "Idiot mutant, back off or i'll have to kill you" She growled taking a few steps back "You kill me? Hah" The thing taunted. Felix gulped and sheather her sword only to take out a load bow and arrow. The head of the arrow was dipped in pioson and the glow of the sun had made it hot. This was Felix's signature design of arrow, it usally stopped the mutants heart within seconds. The mutant eye'd her arrow and frowned "So you're the girl who kills us with those arrows" The mutant growled, "Well I was going to make you're death slow, but now I think i'll have you suffer" It growled, and evil grin on it's face.

Luca growled as he raced determinedly, following Felix's scent.

"You d*mn dog! C'mere!" Scotty called with frustration, he just wanted to go home!


The mutant chuckled at it's own words and lifted it's hand, with the metal blades extending from it's knuckles "You're just like Scott's brother was, wanting to be a hero in his final moments!" it hissed.

Felix faltered at the mutant's words but didn't hesitate. With one swift motion she leapt high in the air and pelted the mutant with arrows. The mutant screeched in pain and ran from her range of shooting. It hissed and scrambled up a building, in hot persuite of Felix. The young girl smiled and chased after it, until she was out of arrows. Suddenly the mutant stopped running and jumped behind Felix. She cursed and tried to run foward but ran right into a brick wall. Dumb-founded Felix looked around to see that she was in an alley, she cursed agian and turned just in time to see the beast jump at her. As quick as a tornado, Felix pulled out her sword and blocked the beast's powerful jaws. The enraged mutant brought his claw up and slashed Felix across the chest. He knived her agian and agian, until Felix couldn't hold up her sword to protect herself from his jaws.

It gave a sinister laugh and raised it's metallic claws, ready to deal a final blow.

A whistle sounded, followed by a snarl. There was a blur of black and something jerked the creatures hand out of the hair. It was Luca. The dog clung fearlessly to the creature's hand, snarling, until it threw him off and glared at Felix again.

"Back off!" The words made the mutant turn only to be hit dead on by Scotty armed with a bat. Their was a sickening snap when the metal made contact, it roared in agony and sped off up the building. Scotty didn't follow, he threw down the bat and raced over to Felix.
