Cedar, accidentally hissed a little bit, from the surprise mood switch she had.

She jumped back and whimpered

Cedar slowly stood up and nuzzled Rain, "I'm sorry... you just caught me by surprised."

Rain looked at him "Its okay"

Cedar smiled, but then it faded away slowly, "You know... my father is sort of right... we would violate laws of nature... since you know, wolves are suppose to kill foxes... not befriend with them... or more." He explained, trying to get the though of kids with her out of his mind.

Rain blushed "yeah but i never listened to others, im like my mom stubborn, Just hope im not like mom and dad always arguing"

"I heard that rain," said Koak from inside the den.

Cedar looked at the den then back at Rain, "But that is the thing though, we should be with out own kind... not different species..."

Rain loooked at her dad "its true if you didnt argue so much it would be better"

Then she looked back at Ceder"but i want you"

Koak looked at Artemisa, then back and rain. He shrugged, and laid back down.

Cedar looked down at his paws, "But you know we can't be together..." he trailed off.

Arte lifted her head "im sorry Koak for everything" She looked down

Rain felt a tear slip down her muzzle

Cedar lifted his head and licked the tear awa, "But we can still talk, hang out, and have fun together." he said in a more better tone.

Rain looked down an ran offf.

Artemisa laayed her head down

Koak perked his ears up.

Cedar yelled for Rain, "Hey wait come back, RAIN!" he yelled taking off after her.

Arte got up and ran after her daughter "Stay here with Ceder" She said dashing past him

Koak stood quickly and ran in front of Cedar and stopped him.

Cedar skidded to a stop and was right next to Koak, He slowly whimpered and sunk to the snow.
