Lara watched as six puppies trailed behind a sinister looking male. She felt her fur fluff up. There was definitely something off about him. And he was in "her pack.... Well, she didn't own the pack, but she cared about the well being of the pack and loved all its members.

"Who the heck are you?" She asked pacing nervously towards the much, MUCH larger nearly black male. He whipped his head around and snarled.

"Why do you want to know?" He snarled back, stepping towards her. He had stitches going up his mouth and his eyes were a piercing yellow.

"Because, I'm the deputy of this pack, and it's part of my duty to protect it from wolves like you," Lara growled back. She'd never been so scared yet so unafraid in her entire life. Paradox for sure. The dark black wolf was suddenly right in front of her. He opened his stitched mouth to reveal gleaming white teeth.

"If you touch her, you'll die," Lara heard Aberdeen snarl darkly as he pushed the dark wolf away so he could protect her from any possible blows. The darkly colored wolf snickered and Loowmare snarled threateningly. The pups only looked around in fear and confusion.

"Deen," Lara murmured. He turned his head. His hazel eyes shown with glittering bravery. "It's alright. Let him be... At least for now." She continued, staring only at the pups. Aberdeen followed her gaze and nodded, letting his fur lie flat. Lara then turned to face the dark male.

"And you," Lara started. "Consider this a warning. If you do anything to anyone in this pack, you WILL be removed." She said irately.

Lara heard growling erupt from behind the rocks where the wolf named Hunter had gone to.

"What the **** is he doing now?" Aberdeen growled irately. Lara happened to be thinking the same exact thing. Lara watched as her mate took off in the direction of the rocks, leaving Lara with her own siblings and the pups. One of them came up to her and jumped onto her back. How can such a sweet little thing come from a wolf like that? Lara asked herself as the little pup snuggled into her fur. I suppose raising styles have everything to do with it... I just hope these pups'll turn out better than their father. Lara thought, sighing and snuffling her nose into the pup's downy fur. It giggled and playfully batted it's paws at her face.

All at once there was a huge onset of growling. Lara's fur prickled in alarm as she could hear Hunter's and Aberdeen's above all other's. She quickly glanced to Chase whose eyes were wide. Pups danced around him, jumping onto his paws and tail. Lara picked the pup up and set it down, then darted toward the menacing growls.

Lara watched as thick black tendrils shot up from the ground just as Aberdeen and Hunter were leaping towards each other. She gave a silent gasp of relief, the thought of Aberdeen and Hunter fighting... Not a good one. There was also a smaller dark colored she-wolf who was probably related to Hunter. .... Where the heck are they coming from, and why are they even coming? Lara asked herself as she regained her composure.

"Nix.... Can you tell me what was going on here?"

Madness padded up, seemingly out of nowhere, fur bristling.

"What the hell is going on here. If there's trouble ANYBODY is to report to ME, and I will deal with the d,amned."

Her voice boomed over the hills, sending birds flying everywhere and rabbits and other small critters scurrying for safety.

("Deal with the D.amned" is Madders' saying when she kills an evil being.)
