Sean tried to hold onto her but she pulled away to quick and then he watched Angie walk through the doors before he started the car. He drove home quickly and slammed the door shut behind him, and shutting out all the lights for total darkness.

Angie walked through the glass doors of the apartment building. She went up the elevator to the top floor and went to her room. She planted herself on her bed and went to sleep, dreaming about Sean.

[the next day]

Sean walked along the edge of a deep river, flowing quickly and quietly through the woods. He sighed, and stuck his hand in the water, which oddly turned black, as if growing deeper. There was a red glowing face in the water, and he was astonished by what he saw. "Seeeaaaannnnnn......." It cooed, reaching out to him. He stood on the edge, then plunged in, falling deeper and deeper into the water.

Angie tossed and turned in her sleep. "Why me?" "Because you fascinate me, love." "Who've you got with you child?" "You love him?" "Look what we have here," "Hm. Well, I hope you regret that, patient," "Ange? Look, i can give you your tear back!" "Sean..." "I love you..." All the thoughts, emotions, stirred in her head. Nothing could stop the pain. She woke with her head pounding hardly.

A whip lashed hard against Sean's bloodied back. Hell was dark and humid around him, he could feel the spirits swarming, laughing and teasing him for letting in someone who was their sworn enemy. He cried out as a sharp pain clipped one of his wings. The giant dark wings fell to the ground, flaming until gone. Tears fell out of his eyes as he was thrown out into the world again, on the side of the riverbank. He was soaked, but the blood still dripped slowly out of his back.

Angie suddenly needed to talk to Sean. She picked up her cellphone and started typing in the numbers. Her fingers fumbled and it was hard to type the right ones in. Finally she did and the phone started ringing.

Sean jumped at the sound of his phone buzzing. He winced as he moved his arm to pick it up.
"Ello?" He answered softly, realizing his voice's raspiness.

"Sean? Oh my god, are you okay?" Angie asked, concerned.

Sean opened his mouth to reply, but he coughed harshly instead. He breathed in slowly, and breathed out, sending a small trickle of blood down his chin. "nnnn...ooo.." He rasped, unable to put the words together.

"Oh god. Oh god. Where are you Sean?"

"T-he lake...no...ocean..riiiiiver...?" He asked, not able to say the right word. He closed his eyes, and reopened them, begining to black out.

"Stay with me Sean, I'll be there as quick as I can," Angie said as she ran out the door, wiping a tear out of her eye.

"I caaan't..." He groaned, grinding his teeth to keep from screaming. He bit his hand, drawing more blood. He whined, dropping the phone into the water then muffling a curse.

Angie ran as fast as she could, the wind burning her cheeks. She got to the river, and saw Sean laying their, still. "Oh my god. Dear God." Angie said as she picked Sean up. Blood gushed on her hands and arms. She pushed her wings out and transformed into her real angel form. Pain overwelmed her body. She struggled, flying higher and higher in the air. She moaned and finally reached the gates of heaven.

Sean groaned at the light, and began to pull a hand over his eyes. The air he breathed was clearer, and he knew instantly where he was. "No." He said sternly, struggling to remove himself from the holy place.
