Scotty wasn't paying attention he was dreading the thought of going into the store. He blinked out of his thoughts and glanced in the direction of the approaching girls not speaking.

Cole tensed angrily as the girls walked over, all grinning, twirling their long hair. One redhead walked over to them, stopping right infront of Cole.
"Well, hey there gorgeous. Does this pretty boy have a name?" She teased, rubbing her hand down his solid arm. Cole looked to Scotty for help, until the redhead took a finger and pointed his face back to her.
"You okay pretty boy?" She asked, leaning in closer.

A grin spread across Scotty's face as he tried to hold in his laughter he noticed the other girl, a blonde head who stood back watching them shyly and letting her eyes drift to Scotty every know and then. At one point their eyes met but she quickly looked away.

Cole was practically shaking now, tried gulping down the lump that was forming in his throat. He backed up and bit, and tumbled over a basket, falling onto the floor. He sat, looking forward for a moment, before seeing the redhead's hand reaching down to help him up. "Common Pretty boy, up ya go. Oh, im Summer, by the way." She piped, wrapping her arm around his waist.

Scotty tried not to laugh at how clumsy poor Cole was, he just took a few steps back but bummed into someone. He turned quickly to see the blonde staring at him with a petrified gaze.

"Oh...er...excuse me..." he became tounge tied.

"No, it woz my fault..." she said quietly with a british accent.

He gulped suddenly realizing how Cole must feel "I...um...I'm Scotty..." he introduced himself awkwardly.

She didn't reply at first, infact she didn't even look at him "I'm Kate..." she said shyly not looking at him.

Cole breathed roughly and coughed, glancing over at Kate and Scotty. The redhead smiled at him, her green eyes sparkling.
"Oh, I'm Rachael. And you are...?" She asked, pulling him against her, still smiling. Cole swallowed and begged to Scotty with his eyes for help.

Scotty happen to glance at Cole, "Um will you excuse me?" he said as Kate nodded. Scotty bolted forward "Eh' there! The name's Scotty this is ma' buddy Cole!" He said pulling Cole gradually away from her.

Cole let out a sigh and then tensed up again when he saw the look in Rachael had on her face. "Oh you two are...? Like...together....?!" She said, cocking her head. Cole's eyes widened and he blushed a deep crimson.

"What?!" Scotty yelped "N-n-no you got it all wrong! We're not together! N-no!" he glanced at Kate who giggled making him blush. "I-I no! We're not together, he's my best friend... n-not in a weird way... but like-" was cut off when Kate walked up alongside him and grabbed his hand

"They're just a couple of guys running errons for mum." she replied. Scotty blushed more as she held his hand.

Cole laughed the tiniest bit, barely audible. He looked at his friend, who was red all the way up to his ears. Rachael took Cole's hand, hoping to find the same reaction, but he only stilled and she sighed.
"Hey Brit, you wanna give pretty boy our numbers, so we can loosen him up a bit?" She taunted, her friend Brittany (A tall blonde) walking over. "Sure, i love some fun." She woofed, pushing a note with their numbers on it into Cole's pocket with a wink.

Scotty glanced at Kate smiling. She quickly let go of his hand and looked away blushing. Scotty cleared his throat, his face starting to return to it's normal color. And he grinned seeing the girls give Cole their numbers.

Cole nodded, and gave Scotty the stern glance to get the package, and GO. He turned away from Rachael and Brittany and began walking out of the store, utterly embaressed.

Scotty nodded turnig to leave but Kate stopped him, he turned and she quickly handed him a note, blushing. Scotty hurried off reading the note as he walked.

Here's my number: [Random phone number here XD]. Text me sometime.

Scotty grinned and wagged his tail a little before stuffing the note into his pocket. He stopped at the front desk, got the package then hurried back after Cole.

Cole groaned on the way back home. "I hate girls...." He grumbled quietly. He shoved his hands into his pockets, and yanked out the phone numbers, throwing them on the ground roughly.

Scotty didn't reply at first, he decided not to tell Cole that Kate had given him her number. "Girls arn't so bad." Scotty replied quietly.
