It's just my opinion, im not arguing. I think Dusty looks good with Balto and kodi, and Ralph. Not just the looks, goodness.

I like this response from you much better than what you said on the other topic of this nature. Admittedly most dogs are more like Romeo and Juliet, but with an increasing number of humans showing similar recklessness, perhaps it's time dogs reminded us where we're supposed to be.


I agree; arguments like that make the Kodi/Dusty side of things look bad. And Balto/Dusty is just plain twisted.

I could go with any of the options you listed, really, although I do like the idea of her being with Kodi. His dedication would serve both of them (and any pups they might have well, provided he focused it properly, and her carefree attitude could help him relax when appropriate. In short, they complete each other.

As for Ralph and Dusty, I think the only real advantage that pairing has over Kodi and Dusty is that Ralph and Dusty are technically canon, albeit loosely so. And since most of the more vocal R/D shippers seem push for Steele/Jenna as well, the "that's what the director said" argument rings pretty hollow from them, in my book.

I do consider that one of the strongest pieces of evidence, if one may call it that, that Kodi and Dusty would be a good couple. Not necessarily that it evidences romantic attraction per se, but because it shows she respects him, and that their priorities are, if not identical, at least fairly similar.

But you might want to be careful about overstating the case. The other team mates showed signs of being effected by his speech too; she was just the first one to put feet to her response.

Now that I've pointed out that inconsistency, let me get back to your original response. You, and every other Ralph/Dusty shipper around here, it seems, have brought up the nuzzle about as many times as I've brought up my point. What's your justification for that?

Also, if the nuzzle is not the profession of love you allude to, then it isn't in the movie. If it is, you've repeated yourself not just in successive posts, as I have, but within a single post.

As for your remark about "Thou shalt not judge," 1. The meaning of that verse, which by the way you quoted wrong and out of context, does not mean that you should not point out wrongdoing. If you are referring to the famous and much-misused "Judge not lest ye be judged" the point there as best I can tell (after a full two years of full-time study and a good sixteen or so of part-time study) had to do with those who were demanding that others live by rules they themselves did not live by, and putting themselves in God's place by putting their rules, essentially, over His. My post to Sakujo was neither. 2. That was posted a long time ago; why have you taken so long to bring it up, unless you just want a senseless argument? And 3. Are you judging me? And if you're not, how was I judging Sakujo?

Now before you answer any of these, consider them rhetorical. I'm not looking to see this turn into a flame war. This has the potential to be a calm and intelligent conversation, but bickering isn't the way to do it. At the risk of repeating myself again, I'll say that a recognize your view that Ralph and Dusty were together, and recognize it as canonical fact. I just don't think it would last.
