Sorren moved closer and looked at the hole. "That was a close shot," she said.

Rango sighed, and pulled his ears back against his head, and whined.
"Well, i guess... I've had worse though." He said, bumping against her slightly.

Sorren tilted her head, thinking. She licked the top of his head gently.
"Be careful," she said. "I don't want you to get hurt."

Rango blushed, and smiled at her, returning the lick.
"Don't worry about me hun, i'll be fine.." He said, shaking out his fur.

"Still.." Sorren said blankly.
She calmly sat down beside him, wrapping her tail around her paws.

Rango burned red, and he looked down at his paws. I dunno how this 'romance' thing works...? He thought to himself nervously.
he opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came out, so he closed it. Rango's tail swished. There was a russling sound in the bushers, and the tan dog Rango attacked popped out with numerous dogs behind him. Rango stifffened.

"Hey there big boy, i was wondering when i's gonna see oyu again." he taunted, swishing his tail. Rango bristled and let a soft growl escape from his lips.
"get outta here, mutt, before i finish what we've started earlier. And beleive me, you won't be pulling for a WHILE afterwords." Rango said evenly.

Sorren jumped to her feet, pulling her ears back against her head. She bristled unknowingly, the wolf in her making itself visible.

The dog snickered, Sorren catching his eye.
"Hey, beautiful there you are... How 'bout i take you off this big loof's paws, why don't we come on down to the boiler room and-" Was all the dog could manage before Rango threw himself at the canine.

Everything was a flash of fur, as Rango ripped and shredded at the dogs jumping onto him. He would snap and snarl and get mouth fulls of skin and fur, but they wouldn't stop coming at him.

Sorren was ignoring the dog, but she jumped back in surprised when Rango began to attack the dog.

There was a series of barks and whimpers, snarls and growls, until they were interupted by a loud crack. two dogs fell down. There was barking, hunting dogs were jujmping in as more cracks sounded off. They... HUNTERS. I gotta go! Rango thought, squirming out of the dog pile.

"Rango!" Sorren barked, as Rango tussled in with the other dogs.
Sorren jumped back as she heard the loud noises, looking around for the source.

Rango grabbed Sorren by the ruff, yanking her forward attempting to get away from the hunter. He fired another shot at them, hitting the dirt directly behind Rango's foot, making him jump.

Sorren gasped.
"We gotta run!" She barked as she took off down the alley, making sure Rango was with her.

Rango snaked along after her, and when they stopped he fell over. Rango's head buzzed when they slowed down.
"I.. Uh, um..." He said, spinning. His world felt like it had exploded, spiraling out of control. He panted, and shook his fur, spinning more.

Sorren stood beside him.
"You okay?" she asked worriedly.
