OOC: Yeah, the Raven and the Mountain Lion.

Ooc:// Oops, I read you last post really fast and missed them being mentions. Sorry!

Bic:// "So, do we just call to it?" Trey asked, not sure how to communicate with a bird.




"Yes, sir!" Dasha said in her still sweet and high-pitched voice. She ran out of the door with the black lab following close at her heels.

"Hey bird!" called Tracy, getting its attention. "Um...hi."

The Owl blinked and woo'd. "Hello?" he asked. "What is it?"

The Raven and Mountain Lion both followed suit. "Were are they I wonder," asked the Raven. "We must find them or Adrian will punish us."

"What do you need?" asked the owl, blinking its large eyes and hooting.

Martha kept her eyes open. "We'd better be quick, Adrian probably knows we're gone by now."

"Yeah, and he's probably sent his minions after us by now," said Michael.

Claw, the Mountain Lion, snarled. "Let's hurry or we'll be in trouble with the master," he said, prowling behind. "And you know how bad a mood he can get in."

"There's a nice cave over that way," said the Owl, pointing his wing. "There's a lot of strong smelling plants there, it'll cover your scent..." he said. "Not that I'd know, I can't smell very good," he explained. "But you'll need promission from the animal who lives there to stay, but she's really nice, don't worry."

"He said dead or alive, right?" asked Claw, licking his lips.

Claw soon arrived were the group had been and sniffed around. "They were just here! Where'd they go?! Where'd they go?!"

They soon came to the location described, at least the beginning of it. It was full of strong smelling grass. "Pew! That owl wasn't kidding! This place reeks!" she stated, putting a paw over her nose.

Martha gagged but shook it off. "Just smelly grass," she stated. "At least it'll cover our scent, I can't even smell myself here. Now let's find the cave."

Shade, the Raven, flew up and started looking.

Tracy soon located the cave. "Remember, we need permission from the one inside to go in."

"Whose there?" asked a voice coming from a pair of small eyes in the cave. "Who are you?"

A skunk walked out of the cave, in a rather threatening stance, she seemed quite old though. "This place isn't just an inn, it's important," she said, looking around them. "While it's true you'll be safe here, I've got reasons I made this place so hard to reach and so safe. How do I know you won't cause harm?"

Tracy was uneasy around the female skunk, not wanting to get sprayed. "We're being chased by a bad man who wants us dead, or maybe worse..."

OOC: Mind if I give her a song? Her name is Sally.

Ooc:// Sure, go ahead.

The skunk looked somewhat sympathatic, but then noticed their unease towards her. "Oh, let me guess, you're afraid 'the smelly skunk'?" she asked, rather bitter. "Well let me explain to you what this place is for," she said, leading them in.

"When you're an outcast, you're a loner
That is something that is quite a downer
You don't know what it feels like to be all alone
For people to reject when there's nothing which to atone
You've all got one another to care for you!" the skunk sung, rather light and relaxed as she lead them in the cave.

Yes, I am a skunk, that much is fact
But I can't get a break, no one will just relax!
I'll admit it now, I can kick up quite a stink
But just once I wish someone I could meet
Without them responding with a peeyew!" she continued, leading them into a room with three other animals, some like her outcasts by species, others by disability.

"When things aren't so hot
when you're painted as an outcast
You're put in quite the spot!
No matter what your past
There's always someone putting you down!
Are relationships with others we'd love to mend
And not in our own dark depression drown.
All we really want is to have a friend..." sung the group of animals together, the chorus.

OOC: Slight subplot here, the skunk's group are outcasts among the forest who came to be safe where no one could find them. Mind being two of them and adding verses to the song? First verseabout how they feel alone, second why they're alone, and third the chorus. Ok?
