Hailey looks at him curiously,"what is that dream you have?" she prods curiously, her tail and ears twitch.

Zion looked away and scratched the back of his head "Erm.. Well, I always really wanted to be an Hero. Saving lives and fighting BIg monsters! But I Never had a Friend in my life. None the other kids like me in this town, they think im too Weird.. and i always daydream of having a best friend who would fight evil with me. And.." he turned back to Hailey "I want that to be us!"

Hailey tilts her head and grins, "really?" she says with wonder."I've never really thought about my true dream...people are always telling me what to do, so...you know..mom wants me to marry into royalty somehow or be a lady in waiting or whatever..but that's not really..me...so..I'd love to fight evil with you! I think we'd be the greatest team ever!! I'd have my bow and you'd haveyour sword and then those other kids would be afraid of us!" she giggles.

ZIon gagged "Marriage? Urgh.. Thats ridiculous.. Girly stuff.. You and i can Just fight evil! thats ALOT more fun!" He nodded "We would be the greatest team! prehaps when your back out, You may have your bow! we will go see him soon as your out!"

Hailey looks at him blankly,and loks away
"then i won't tell him that... she thinks to herself, then looks back at him still smiling,
"you're right!" she exclaims, "it's so boring in my room, all I can do is read and I've already memorized all my books, "she says nonchalantly with a shrug. "but they're really interesting for the most part." she adds.

Zion shrugs " I guess, i dont read that much. only books my dad gave me. mostly about evil guys and a big hero who would save a princess from a castle, fighting off a big dragon and all sorts!" he smiled big "If you ever get in trouble il save you in a second!" He sat up more Brave "Nothing keeps me away from my best friend!"

Hailey's tail wags, "thanks bestest friend," she says with another huge smile, 'that's good to know..I might need saving sometime.who knows!" she shrugs and laughs,"and..my books are about mystical creatures..unicorns and dragons and stuff..and I think.." she pauses "oh! gryphons too!"

Zion blinked "Oooh. Can i see?" he said looking behind Hailey to her Room "It sounds fun! its good to learn what we be seeing, like that Gr-.. Gr.. that thing! yesterday!" Zion nodded and smiled innocently forgetting the name of the creature already.

"of course!" Hailey says, "follow me!" she crawls through the window and takes a book off a slightly dusty shelf. SHe opens it up, carefully turning the pages, "here's a drawing of a gryphon," she says handing the ancient book to Zion. "I wish I could meet one for sure, and not just see it.." she murmurs..

Zion blinked "Wow.. Hey we could meet one! Remember we saw one in the woods! they might live there and we can prehaps meet one!" he said in a loud voice then shutting up, whispering instead "Is your mum in..?"

Hailey's eyes grow even wider, a heavy silence falls into the room. " I think she's downstairs,.." hailey says in a whisper.." don't wanna get in trouble, but I never thought about it...maybe it has..." she stops.."okay that does it..we're gonna find it.." she scurres over to a chest in a corner of the room."

Zion tilt his head, sneaking over "what you looking for?" he asked Curiously as he gazed at the chest

"well supplies of course!" Hailey replies, "we need an..explorer kit!!" she says dramatically. "something to take notes with, something to see them from far away with.." she scoots over, "you can help me look! there's tons of stuff in here we could use!"

Zion nodded "Great idea!" he whispered loudly and started to Scavenge in the chest with Hailey "What exactly we looking for though? theres alot in here" he said looking over to Hailey, then pulling out a box. shaking it "Whats in these?"

Hailey replies, "we'll take the guide book first, then this pair of binonculars," she hands them over to him, "and this stub pencil, " she says rummaging further, "and this small thing of...paper.. for notes." she grins.
she looks at the box..."ewwww! I think that's two year old candy!" she makes a face and laughs
