Rii was surprised to find the wolf now walking into the den, she bristled, rising to her paws. She snarled at Kaya. Rii yelped upon being bitten and whirled around defensively, grabbing hold of whatever she could in her teeth.

Kaya snarled When Rii grabbed hold of her fore paw, and snapped at the younger female, clutching hold of Rii's neck and squeezing. All of a sudden there was another snarl and Rii was released, and kaya was fightin off Brady. He mangled anything his jaws came down upon. When the fight was over, brady had a few minor cuts and scraps, and Kaya lay dead, on the floor. Brady, panting, padded over to Rii, nudging her lightly with his bloody muzzle.

Rii stood, her neck slightly bleeding from Kaya's teeth marks. Rii was shaking, mostly from the realization of how close her life came to ending. She nuzzled Brady. "Brady..." she sighed in relief.

But he didn't listen, Brady Licked Rii all over, pushing her to the ground, himself starting to shiver too. His eyes were closed, hiding he tears of releif, and he lay down around Rii.

"Oh love, i am so sorry" Brady said, licking Rii's back, before he lay his big head down over it protectivley. He was so sure that he could've lost Rii, so he couldn't speak. he just breathed hard. I.Im a murderer. brady thought.
He sighed, and Apologized again to Rii for what he had gotten her into.

"For everything Rii, for getting you kicked out, and almost killed."

Rii cuddled close to him. "It's not your fault..." she said. "Nothing is your fault." She was so sure it was her own fault. She couldn't explain how, but she just knew somehow everything that went wrong was because of a mistake she had made.

Brady laughed half-heartedly. he knew that if he hadn't have been so careless as to leave Rii alone while went to hunt, then Kaya wouldn't have come and they wouoldn't be lying here all battered up. He sighed, and fell asleep.

Rii lay awake, deep in her own thoughts. She listened to Brady's breathing as he slept as she allowed her mind to wonder, thinking about her past present, and even the future. She sighs softly.

Brady dreamt of being a father. And he was sucking at it. In his dream, Rii left him, children and all...alone without her. Brady woke up and glanced around the cave. Rii lay snuggled against him, Breathing in and out softly.
"Rii? Are you awake?"

Rii's ear flicked, hearing his voice in the gentle silence of the cave. "I am." She chimed, raising her head to look at him.

Brady was so overjoyed she was even woke up. He was so scared she would die in her sleep.
"Good, listen it's not your fault or mine, okay?"

Rii tilted her head, as she thought they had dropped that topic awhile ago. But she smiled, "Alright, hotshot," she said, agreeing. "It's neither of our faults."

ooc: Want to go ahead to the next morning?

"Alright..." Brady agreed, and he let himself drift into a bleak dreamless sleep.

ooc: Sure

Rii layed her head down slowly and sighed quietly, finally falling asleep.

The sun rose quietly the next morning, the birds chirped in the trees as the wind blew calmly and gently.

ooc: Hey, Wp, can you give me a little while to think of a areply? At the moment, i can't think fo anything, sooo, it may be a while before i reply^^
