"We can travel through rivers. The pups will think it's fun," Sadie said.

"Yes. I was thinking we could leave a false trail going downriver, towards the south, but go the other way," Sadie explained.

"Wait, you should stay here with the pups. I'll go tell them," Sadie said.

Sadie knew they most likely would be safer with Rio, mainly because Ai hated her the most, and Rio was stronger than Sadie was. She ran off, searching for Ayame and William.

Sadie soon reached their den, hesitating only for a brief second before entering.

"What do you want?" He asked.

Ayame looked at the she-wolf with curiousity in her eyes.
"Are you expecting anyone?" Sadie asked, after a brief moment of hesitation.
Ayame shook her head. "No, you may speak," she said, dipping her head as an indication to begin.
"Earlier today, I was walking alone, and I picked up Ai's scent, and I saw a glimpse of her fur. Later on, Rio and I went together, and picked up signs of her presence again. We think she may have survived, and we think maybe we should leave. Ai will be seeking revenge again, and we can't take the risk of staying here, and putting the pups in danger." Sadie took in a deep breath. "I know, we have basically taken charge of the pack, but I wanted to let you know, you're going to have to choose someone else to do it."
"Are you positive she's alive, Sadie?" Ayame asked.
"No, I'm not. But even if it's just a suspicion, Ai has put us through to much to ignore it. I'm sorry," Sadie said.
