Eiji came out. "Agito..." he said. "Quick, save the victims! I'll help Agito!" he said, charging into battle.
Jarret nodded, starting to eat. "Its good to have someone to hang out with, I haven't found many others to be with."

Eiji slashed Oceanus but his blade wasn't able to do much damage and he was launched back, Agito's punches had much the same effect.
"Really? How?" asked Jarret.

Jarret tried shooting Oceanus with the Scorpion, some of the shots piercing but most just annoying him, but it did let Jarret get a throw in on the Lord.
Jarret nodded. "I see...but I kinda drove them away with how I reacted with this pain...I withdrew...I wish I hadn't."

Jared was unwilling to leave them unattended, but knew he shoudl try and help with the fight. He fired a few rounds with the gun, hoping his aim wasn't to far off, and they would do a little bit of damage.

Oceanus' attention was drawn, letting Agito grab him and flip him overhead through a tree, where Eiji slashed the Lord repeatedly.

Jared, pleased her had contributed to the fight, turned back to the motehr and child. THe child was still coughing, and was shaking visibly. The mother looked just as shaken. "Ae you alright?" Jared asked. It took a while for the question to sink in. The mother finally nodded, holding her child close.

Agito, seeing Oceanus was worn down from repeated attacks, opened his horns and took his stance, the symbol appearing. He absorbed it and delievered his Rider Kick to Oceanus' chest, sending him flying back.
Oceanus staggered to his feet, the impact spot smoking but his armor had withstood the impact, though he was badly hurt.

Jared peeked around the van, glad to se ethat Oceanus was smoking slightly. He fired a few round off again, hoping they would hit.

However, a second, gold Tortiose Lord, this one a Gopher Tortiose, blocked for his sibling. He was Terrestris. Terrerstris send up a plume of sand, letting both of them escape underground.

"You should probably get home," Jared said, turning back to the mother and child. "Would you need a ride?"
The mother shook her head, and cleared her throat. "No, but thank you," she said, sounding a little uncertain. It was the first time Jared had heard her speak, and her voice was soft, and surprisingly melodious. She left, holding her child, and Jared's gaze was once again drawn to the two Riders.
