Sam burst out laughing. it fitted susie perfectly, tangod chocolate. she does look very orange today. Sam followed Dante, still chuckleing."looks like some one went over board with the fake tan, eh orangatang?" sam asked susie so only she could hear. Then a little more loadly she added,"And the names sam, not samantha."

susie glared after the new boy and the now retreating samantha. " you were christianed by the name, so you've got to live with the name."

Sam replied," Nah, never got christianed. If i had wanted to splash around in tap water then i would have gone to the bathroom and got in the bath." Sam walked away and caught up to Dante. He seemed odd, a new emotion she'd never seen on any one before. He looked so funny she started to laugh again.

Dante just grinned "Oh" he said And looked back at the staring crowd "And the name Dante, Love it,hate it, Either way youll remember it" he gave a mock salute and walked off".

"smooth. Though you appear not to be as smooth with map reading. This is the long way to history. it takes 5 minutes to ge there." Sam grinned at him. it seemed really funny. "follow me" Sam started to walk in the direction of a block of offices that is really the teachers building. It was the 2nd most high tec part of the chool. the other was the ICT building.

Dante grinned "Hey, At least they know no o mess with me" he said "Its called turning tables, Gets preps everytime"

Sam shakes her head. "preps, what is the world comeing to?!" she asked the sky. " why us? what have we ever done to them, apart from calling them a tangoed chocolate and a orangatang?"

Dante chuckled "You cant blame them, Its in their nature" he said "Though, They wore their ties like that when my grandfather was at school"

"grand father? wish i had one..." said sam, her vioce trailing away as she began to get lost in thought. Sam suddenly woke up again. "any way, its this way." Sam walked up a set of stairs. A year 11 tripped her over as they passed. The year 11 burst out laughing and started to walk away. Sam got up and brushed down her cloths making sure she wasn't hurt, swearing all the time.

Dante growled and shoved the year 11 hard into the wall "Watch it durbrain" he snapped. He glared at the older guy defiantly, Almost daring him to try anything.

The year 11, called Tom, grinned down at him. "what are you gonna do to ma punk? eh? " he said to Dante. Tom called over to a group of boys. " this new little kid thinks he can tell em whether or not i'm allowed to push year 9's down on ma birthday. looks like we got a datewith him after school." hen he burst out laugh, pushed past Dante and jioned his group. Then they went of to class.

"oy, Dante, cool it."sam put her hand on his shoulder, turning him towards her. " he just an idiot. he does that to every one. come on we've got to get to history." Sam led the way up the stairs and in to a class room. "hello sir. I'm sorry were late. My sister was on the bus and i was with her this morning. This is Dante by the way."

The Teacher, Mr Scott, glanced at them "Sam, Sit at your place. Dante, I know your new to this school but hink every school expects students to turn up at lessons on times. You have a 700 word essay to write on Victorian Water sanitation by thursday" he snapped

Dante shrugged and sat down.

Sam, as usual, sat in the seat at the back of the class. She was the only one without some one sat next to her in the whole class. She felt Dante sit beside her. "your supposed to wait for the teacher to tell you to sit down and where to sit." she whispered to Dante.

"Eh" shrugged "Dante "He has a problem with it he can deal wit it"

"Mr Welsh" snapped Mr Scott "This is NOT your house, You will sit where I tell you. Now You can sit... Ah! Susie has a seat next to her! You can sit there"

Dante gave Mr Scott a death glare but Skulked over.

Susie looked up at the mention of her name. She saw Dante walking towards her and felt a weird rush like she'd never felt before. Probably a stomach bug, she thought. She felt when it when Dante flopped down besides her. " Hiya" She whispered to Dante, making sure he felt her hot breath on his cheek. " what are you doing over here, cutie?" I'll get him mesmerised then reel him in, She thought. Dante was too hot to pass over to Samantha.

Sam giggled at his second name. Dante Walsh? That didn't sound right...I'm sure I read that name some where. When she saw where he had to go and sit, she suddenly had a rush of emotions. Pity for Dante, annoyance at Mr Scott, humour because Dante had to sit where he least wanted to and another emeotion she didn't know, or at lest had never felt before. She glared at Susie when she saw what she was doing.

Dante wanted to swat her away so badly. FOr once he found it hard stop himself bursting into wolf form "Werent you listening" he snarled under his breath" That idiot teacher made me sit over here" he snapped. He Turned away delieratly and Glanced dwn at the worksheet Mr Scott had left out.

Susie stared astonished at Dante. No one had ever resisted the urge to kiss her when she did that. One guy once stood up and picked her up and snogged her right there in science once. she blushed and looked down at the work sheet and then groaned. Great. French revolution again!

Sam smilied slightly when she saw what Dante did. Relief washed over her, then confusion. Why did she feel relieved? Sam looked down at the work sheet too and answered all the questions in an instant. She'd already learnt about all this in a book. Strangly, she fond that she could write the answers on the work sheet, think about why she felt relieved, and still concentrate on what the teacher was saying. Weird, she thought.
