Alex slid his hand slightly closer to hers as his mind stopped working "Counting down the minutes until I saw you." After he said it he jumped a little, suprised and confused about the sudden outburst.

Lyra's blush becam much more prominent at those words. For a moment, she was at a loss for words, just enjoying the contact of his hand even more. "I was doing the same," she said softly, after a moment.

Alex didn't look up as she spoke, instead he watched as he walked his hand, using two fingers to look like legs, closer to her's where he slowly and gently slid his fingers inbetween hers. He still didn't look up "Good." He smiled softly, on the outside he looked calm and collect but in the inside his body was praticly screaming at him.

Lyra's hearrt pounded loudly in her ears, and she flet the blood rushing to her head. She blinked, every one of her senses seemingly more sensitive. His hand seemed overly warm, but strangely comforting, and she was aware of how close she was too him. The feeling was foriegn yet thrilling, and she blinked again, surprised to find herself grinning.

Alex grinned, his eyes sparkling. He could hear his heart beat and ers, they matched completley, which made him smile even more.

Drake looked at Nika as she slipped her shoes off like it was nothing , then he chuckled a little at her hello kitty socks. Then, she moved his hand lower on her hip, and he looked in her eyes, his heart filled with something different, there was no animal in him, just love, for this girl in front of him. This beautiful girl whom he was in love with. The girl he was holding in his arms. It felt like time had stopped, he just stared at her with love in his eyes not feeling any embarrestment and he hugged her in his arms so her head was resting on his shoulder as they danced around the floor.

Nika looked up at him and her eyes filled with admiraration(sp!) and love. The thought that she could kiss him at that moment was almost overwhelming, but she figured dancing with him was already enough on his behalf(sp?). Nika beamed upa t him as her heart felt full, as if it was struggling to keep all of these emotions trapped inside. She liked the feeling.

Lyra was perfectly content to sit here, and enjoy the contact of his hand, and the warmth emanating from it, but she wasn't quite sure Alex would feel the same way. "So...do you want to...do something?" she asked, breaking the fragile moment.

Alex's spine shivered once her voice hit his ears. He soaked in the feeling of her hand and then smiled "Yeah, but what?" He asked, his eyes dancing around the room in search of something, or anything, to do.

Drake caught Nika looking up at him, he eyes sparkling. He wanted her to be his, which he knew wuldnt happen. He knew that if he ever told her the truth, that he was a werewolf, she would never love him. No matter what he knew this wouldn't last, but he didn't want it to stop, no matter how bad he knew it would hurt in the end. He would deal with it because as long as he got her for this time it wouldn't be enough, but at least it would be something.
