"All right, then, bedtime!" Chided Setsuko as she crawled under the covers. The children did too, though unlike Setsuko, they drifted off the sleep. Setsuko herself couldn't sleep yet...there where important matters to be discussed with Rue.

Tess was soon asleep in Gale's arms, and Gale and Maddy soon followed. Rue's eyes closed, but her mind refused to turn off. THe events of today kept flashbacks popping up randomly in her mind.

Once she was sure the children were asleep, Setsuko crawled over to Rue. "We need to talk," She whispered, and gestured the outside.

Rue nodded, slipping out from under her blankets, and out the door. The cool night wind immediatly blew the dark hair out of her face, and she crossed her arms over her chest to ward off the chill.

Setsuko sat down just outside the cabin. She glanced at Rue, her gaze serious...almost worried. "Rue, we have to find out why we're back in Ayumu's world," She stated, voice low and urgent.

"Should we visit the Caverns of Life?" Rue asked, her voice just as low as Setsuko's, but questioning instead of urgent.

"Yes," Confirmed Setsuko. "Tomorrow night, after the children are asleep. Kuilak and Tariq can stay behind."

Rue nodded her agreement. "Should we let them know? Or just sneak off?"

Setsuko gave that some thought. "Kuilak and Tariq, yes," She decided at last. "The children, no."

"I wasn't asking about the children anyways," Rue shurgged.

Setsuko nodded. "Alright then. We should get to bed." She sneaked back into the cabin and crawled under her blanket next to Kuilak. She closed her unique eyes and awaited the sleep which would soon greet her.

Rue followed Setsuko, and slipped into her blanket. Her eyes were kept open. It had been so long since visiting the Cavern of Life.....would it be any different? Why wer ethey here? And what would it be like seeing Ayumu again?

Setsuko awoke the next morning to Li's cries. She sat up and lifted the infant off his blanket. Kuilak sat up as well. "Wha...? Hw early izit?" He mumbled, words slurred with sleep. "Dawn," Replied Setsuko, noticing the light streaming through the dirty cabin window. "We should probably be getting up anyway." She cradled Li and murmured softly, trying to quiet him.

Tess rolled over, still in her brother's arms, but didn't wake. Rue, however, did. She had three kids, and whenever she heard crying, it menat she had to get up and go fix whatever the problem was. She blinked her brown eyes sleepily, sitting up. SHe managed to focus, and looked out the window. It was only dawn. She kneaded her eyes with the heel of her palms.

Yuumi sat up. "Moring?" He asked, voice as sleepy as his father's. "Yes, morning," agreed Kya, already wide awake. She was a morning person. "Wake up, Sumi," She murmured, shaking her brother. "Ah! Five more minutes?" Moaned Sumi. Li continued to whine, but the sounds softened as she gazed up at his mother with his stormy gaze. "You're hungry, aren't you?" Setsuko mumbled half to herself.
