"Night Val," she said, laying her head back on her paws. Her amber eyes drifted shut as the comforting and familiar sounds of the forest filled her ears. And then a lone wolf howling. Tsuki's eyes shot open as she heard it. SHe moved carefully, making sure that she didn't wake Valkirye up when she left. The cool night breeze carried a familiar scent, it couldn't be.....it just couldn't. She saw him shot when she was a pup. SHe ran to the source, her heart pounding with the possibility. The howl ended, but she could tell where it was coming from now. She ran to the source, and her amber eyes widened as she saw her brother standing ebside a river. Suddenly it felt like a dream. This couldn't be happening, could it?
She walked forward. "Fen?" she asked, her voice a hoarse whisper. The white wolf looked at her, and his familiar silver eyes widened in recognition.
"Tsuki?" he asked, his vioce disbeleiving. Tsuki ran to him, a tear of joy leaking down her cheek, mixed with bitter sorrow as she saw the stump that used to be his left front leg and the scars that dotted him. "What happened to you? I saw you, you were shot!" she said, burying her muzzle in his creamy pelt.
"After they shot me, the dogs were set on me. THey called them off after most of this happened," he gestured with his amputated leg, then continued. "But I managed to find some help with the locals. THey healed me, but I thought you must of been hunted, since I hadn't seen or heard you ever since. But they haven't," he finsihed, a smile breaking out on his face. 'Oh Tsuki! You have no idea how good it is to see you!" he said.
"I think I do actualy," Tsuki said, her voicie clogged with tears. "I'm glad you're okay though," she said, clearing her throat. Fen seemed to notice her wounds then, and his silver eyes looked horrified.
"Tsuki? What happened to you?" he asked.
"I was hunting caribou with Valkirye." she answered.
"Who's Val- I can't finish his name,"
Tsuki laughed lightly. "He's another one of us. I met him after losing some humans and dogs," she said. Her amber eyes were warm and loving as she looked at her brother. "Come on, I'll take you to him. We were trying to find a home here."
Fen noticed the way she spoke about the wolf, and realization caught on. "So, you like him, huh? he asked.
"No!" she protested. "Well, maybe. Ok, fine, I do,' she blurted.
"THought so," Fen said, satisfied. "NOw, why don't you take me to him?" he asked, raising one eyebrow.
"Follow me," Tsuki said, walking off slowly from her wounds. Fen walked beside her, and the soon reach edth hollow tree where they were staying temporarily.
"THis is your home?" Fen asked. Tsuki let out a laugh.
"No. WEre still trying to find one. THis is temporary," she said. She walked in, Fen close behind. She nudged Valkirye. "Wake up Val, we have a visitor," she said gently.

"This is Fen," she introduced, stepping aside slightly so he had a clear view of him. "He's my brother."
Fen nodded, pressing his larger and scarred body against his sister's lithe and creamy one.
"I heard him, and I went to go see what it was," Tsuki began to say.
"Then we saw eachother nad got caught up, and Tsuki brought me here,," Fen finished for her.

Fen smiled at the wolf, who's name he could still not remember. Val something is all he knew. "The pleasure is mine," he replied, sounding formal.
Tsuki nudged him gently. "Knock off the act. You dOn't have to act all high and mighty," she teased.
