"Yeah, see ya." Biddy waved good-bye before walking into the classroom. She recognized a few people from her other classes, but one person stood out. Biddy made her way over to Alexander. "You don't mind if I sit here, do you?" she asked him, indicating the desk next to him.

Biddy nodded her thanks before sitting down. She bit her lip, looking for something to say. She didn't want to seem rude and just come out and ask why he and Asher seemed to hate each other, but she also didn't know anything else about Alexander.

Biddy glanced at the clock. The teacher was running really late. She sighe din bordom and pulled out her English notebook to continue the drawing she had started first period. She started sketching the outline of a butterfly near the biggest rose.

Biddy opened the not and smiled at the compliment. She quickly wrote back.

Thank you. But why are you writing a note? Teacher's not in yet.

She slid the note back to Alexander and waited for his reaction.

Why don't you like talking out loud? And, come one, people can be a bit more mature.

Biddy wrote and slid it back to Zane.

(got tired of typing out Alexander)

Biddy chuckled at that.

I'm sure some of them are at least as mature as 10 year olds.

She handed the piece of paper back.

Aw, there'll grow up eventually. I hope.

Biddy wrote and slipped the note back to Zane.

(I say that about the guys in my school everyday. XD)

(Oh, well. I still love 'em all and wouldn't trade them for the world)

BIddy giggled at the note.

Sometimes, hope is all we've got.

She added a little smiley face at the end before giving it back to Zane.
