Rayna began to jog towards her castle, then she stopped, ripped off her high heels, then ran again. Her castle came into view, and so did the stables in the back with all the knights' horses.

Ooc:// Maybe King Bob should start to wonder where she is when he wakes up?

Ooc:// He will, it's just midnight now, so he can't wake up. He claims he needs 'beauty sleep.' XD

Ryan followed her, lagging behind slightly, the jolts from running not to terribly bad, but enough to make him wince.

Ooc:// I'm going to make it around 4 am now, if that's ok.

"Stay here." Rayna ordered. Then, she tore off the bottom of her dress to make it shorter. After that, she sprinted across the lawn and right into the stables. The horses lifted their heads at her presence, and one even nuzzled her. "Hey, Rose." she whispered as she stroked the horse's nose and tied a lead rope around her neck. She led the gray-with-white-spots mare out of the barn, along with a brown and yellow stallion named Crusade. She tacked up both the horses and climbed onto Rose's back, then kicked her softly in the sides to have her trot, Crusade following not far behind.

Ryan smiled as she came back on a gray and white mare, leading a light yellow and a darker brown stallion behind her.

"Here, Ryan." said Rayna, tossing him the reins of Crusade. "His name is Crusade, and he shouldn't give you any trouble. Put one foot in the stirrup, then just pull yourself up onto the horse and keep your reins short. Kick him in the sides to make him go faster, and pull on the reins to slow him down. Pull the reins to steer him. Okay?"

"Okay," yan said uncertainly, and did as he was instructed, grimacing as the wound stretched, but it was immediatly soothed by the wad of herbs and salve that covered the angry flesh.

"There ya go." praised Rayna as Ryan got up onto Crusade. "We'll keep them at a walk for now," instructed Rayna, referring to the horses, "Once your wound is healed, we can pick it up to a trot. If you think you're ready. Horseback riding is an art, and it takes years to master, so don't feel bummed if you can't go fast." Rayna then snickered and kicked Rose in the sides, making her pick up a canter. She zoomed past Ryan, yelling, "Betcha can't catch up!"

Ryan kicked his horse cautiously, hanging on tightly. Crusade picked up his speed, and soo, a determined not to be left behind Ryan kicked it up into a canter,getting close to Rayna, his eyes shut tight for dear lif.e

Rayna slowed Rose down to a trot, and slowing down Crusade as well with her hand. "You didn't have to do that, Ryan!" Rayna laughed. "But don't close your eyes! Look!" she pointed to a clearing in the forest, just ahead, with a flowing stream and stone cavern, big enough to fit a few people.

"Come on, let's go check it out." whispered Rayna, not wanting to break the silence. She slid off of Rose and took the reins, leading the horse down into the clearing slowly. She hooked the reins around a dead branch protruding from the ground. Someone must've stuck it there before. She patted Rose before looking inside the cave, but not going in just yet.

Ryan slid off, following Rayna's smooth exapmle clumsily.

Rayna felt Ryan behind her, so she turned around and said, "We can stay here 'till morning, then we'll go find the chapel." As she stepped father inside, she sat down in a seductive fashion at the back wall of the cave.

Rayna laid her head on Ryan's shoulder. "I promise, we'll go to the chapel in the morning." she whispered, then kissed him on the cheek and fell asleep next to him.
