Zac got up quickly and walked towards Bridgette again. "Hey, you wanna join us?" he asked. "There's plenty of room for you and your friends." He smiled. "Come to our table if you want." He smiled again, then turned and walked back to his table. Soon enough, he was making jokes and laughing once again.

Skye smiled, knwoing she was joking. She stared at the table, unsure of what to say. SH ewas fine, but she wasn't the best at being social and she wasn't good at making friends easily, like Zac was. SHe always had to worry about what she said, and how it ame out. She didn't have to do that with Bridgette, Lark, Zac, abnnd the rest of them though....they had known eachother for a while, and she was comfortable around them.

Zac looked at Skye and smiled. He turned to the rest of the group and grinned. "Hey who wants to play truth or dare?" One of them asked. "I will!" Zac volenteered. He turned to Skye. "Hey Skye, you wanna play?" he asked excitedly.

ooc- Let the rest of them sit down before getting to daring them to go inside the haunted house....then you have the honors of saying it, if you want.

Skye nodded hesitantly. "Sure," she said, her eyes scanning the group that surrounded Zac and now her, some not even able to get seats, preferring to stand, leaning on the table, all seeming to be familiar and friendly with him.

No objection left Isabella's lips as she followed after Mort. Pushing her glasses back up her nose she pulled her thick red hair back up into a pony tail, wrapping a black scrunchy around it's base to hold it back. A few strands of her bangs layered over her flushed cheeks as she looked along the hallways, her white blouse hugging her side softly as her baggy denim jeans lightly swayed to her movements.

"I really think I'm Fine Mort, you don't have to go through all this trouble" She said looking form the halls back onto Mort's facial features, a smile planted firmly on her young lips as her hands rested to her sides.

Brooklyn only nodded in response to his inquire as she walked quietly besides Conner as they made their way into the cafeterias. Half of the students were making their way back from the lunch line to the seats. Looking around she met various stares of other students but it was soon passed along as they made their way over to the wall, were the line started. Thin strands of her dark hair lightly tapped against her chin, contrasting her slightly paler skin with the dark chestnut locks.

Pushing her bangs to the side and behind her ear as she gazed around the entire room before glancing back to Conner. She quickly remembered the necklace and began to dig into her jacket before pulling out the silver chain and smiled to Conner."Hey you dropped this on the bus.." She leaned her hand out towards him, a smile firmly digging into the corners of her lips.

Skye watched this ineterestedly. A girl govong Connor a necklace, not exactly something new, but enough to make a smile tug at the corners of her lips. Of course, the circumstances were different, it had already been his, but still. She looked at the msilver chain closely, realizing that he always wore it. It had taken her till now to realize it was gone.

"Go on Connor, take it," a guy said amid the crowd HIs voice was lightly teasing, he obviously just hang out wth him because everyone else did.

Mort walked along at a slower pace. "I-I know... I just want to make sure you'll be alright. I watched those CSI shows, you could've gotten brain trauma or something! I mean, you know, better safe than sorry right?" He looked for answers in her sweet face. So calm and collected, after all that happened. And her smile just warmed his heart all the more when he looked upon it.

They approached the door and he knocked. "If you're alright, I won't bother you about it anymore. How's that?" He tried to smile back, one as warm as she gave, but he was only able to lift one corner of his mouth from his nervousness and it looked more like a grimace.

Connor's hand was practically shaking when he took back the pendant. So full of joy and relief, he was almost compelled to hug her, but instead he ran his other hand over the dragon charm and beads that made it up, breathing a sigh of relief into his more heartfelt than sounding "Thank you." He cursed inside his head, 'I was in too much of a hurry this morning. I usually wear it, but I was running a bit late... pocket... what was I thinking?'

He threw it over his head and stuck it down his shirt when he heard the shout among the other students. They were starting to get the attention of many now. He didn't pay much attention to the guy who had drawn many of the unwanted eyes. He was more annoying than ever.

Connor shot him a glare before grabbing a bag of Sour Cream 'n' Onion Sun Chips and after paying quick, he turned back to Brooklyn. "Our table's this way." He stuffed his hands and chips in his jacket pockets as he considered a few things. He wasn't sure what he wanted to say, but he didn't really want her to go either. More from gratitude, but it was also that it'd just be inconsiderate to just leave her hanging when she was a new student. He eyed down his and Mort's usual table near Skye and them, and nodded toward it. "When you're ready..." He stood waiting to see if she'd accept, and/or get food.
