Ruby nodded in agreement. "We have to drive them off!" she said, phrasing the sentence another way.

"I'm in!" Twilight said half exited half scared to death. The sounds were getting louder and louder, and so was her heart beat. She started walking in their direction.

"Twilight, wait for me," Ruby called, then walked off after her friend, adrenaline racing through her body, making the world sharp and strangely clear. Her heart started racing faster, and her teeth showed, a growl forming low in her throat.

The noises started coming so close they were nearly in front of them. Twilight let out a low growl, baring her teeth and lowering her head.

Ruby let the growl out, sounding menacing and feirce. She layed her ears back, the fur standing up on the back of her neck, making her look biggger than she really was.

Rackshaw saw the slight glimpse of mocha-colored fur and he attacked the hunter's dog. It seemed like a mix between a shepard and a sheepdog, so its teeth were duller than Rackshaw's. He tore into the sheepdog's scruff, making it yelp and buck.

Austin's ears shot straight up. He loooked straight into the humans' eyes as they arrived on the scene. He growled loud and fierce. His growl sounded as if it could be heard a mile away. He then jumped high into the air, landing right in front of one of the hunters. He growled again, showing his teeth. He then lunged at the human. A shot resounded throughout the forest. Austin was hit with a bullet. He lay on the ground whimpering, but found the strength to pull himself up. He lunged at the human again, and this time was able to grab some skin. He held on to the neck of the hunter. Blood was all around him, both his own and the human's.

Raven looked up to see the hunters, her black fur making her appear as a shadow while she glided through the trees. When she saw the blood around Austin, she gasped silently, being careful not to give away her location to the hunters. When she saw a vonerable one, she jumped on him, grabbing his back. She ripped into it, causing the man to go down. He struggled to break free, but Raven would not let go.

Rackshaw was finished with the hunting dog, and he spotted Austin on the ground, surrounded with red. He leapt in front of him, facing the oncoming hunters and dogs. "Bring it!" he screamed at them.

Ruby, seeing Austin being taken care of and protected, leapt at another human, mindless of guns. She snarled, biting the humans neck and not letting go till her dropped to the ground, surrounded by red. THe red blood was prominent on Ruby's cream muzzle, making it look like her fur was red there too. SHe leapt at another hman, hearing a bang. A bullet grazed her shoulder, and she fell to the ground. It wasn't deep and ignoring the pain, she angrily finished the fight with him, biting his neck. As he pulled away, her ripped out his own throat. She opened her mouth, lketting it drop to the ground. She attacked a human without a gun, and he screamed as her sharp teeth ripped his skin.

A human and three dogs came at Rackshaw, and he charged into the human's legs, breaking them with his head. The human screamed in pain, and Rackshaw decided to put him out of his misery. He grabbed the broken legs in his mouth, then swung him around a few times and threw him into a tree, and the man died on impact. Rackshaw then turned to the three dogs, who whimpered and tucked their tail in between their legs, running off. Rackshaw lifted his head in triumph.

There weren't many humans left, and there were only a dog or two. She leapt at the nearest dog, and it looked surpriesd as she rolled into it.It quickly recovered however, and lunged for her neck, missing, but opening her bullet graze more. Ruby lunged at the dog and they continued in this manner for a few seconds until the dog actually landed a blow, shredding her ear and cllawing her stomach. Ruby gritted her teeth and ended the fight with a bite to the neck while the dog was still truimphing. She got off the dead body, blood leaking down her face and down her left front leg, and from a slight cut somewhere on her back.

Another dog ran at Rackshaw, this one coming out of nowhere and was twice the size of Rackshaw himself, even though it was clearly a female. She bowled into him, bending his front paw the wrong way. Rackshaw cried out in pain, the latched his teeth into whatever part of her was nearest to him. He heard her howl sloppily, then she snarled and gave Rackshaw a blow to the head, creating a cut halfway down the side of his face. He felt the blood roll down his head, his broken paw throb, and his teeth ache from biting her so hard, and the world faded and...became...blackness...everywhere...

Ruby watched the events horrified, already running towards him. She lept at the female, who was much bigger than her, as RUby was smaller than average. She bit the female's neck, taking her by surprise, and killed her quickly however. THe male dog leapt at he ad pinned her, frothing at the mouth. Ruby struggledto get away from him, but he had her in a firm grip. She clawed his stomach, drawing blood. With a howl, he let go of her and bit at her, blood pouring freely from his stomach. The dog's teeth closed on her back hard, and she struggled to pull away. She twisted and tore out his throat and she dropped to the ground. She whimpered softly, struggling to stand.

Twilight starred at what was happening around her, she din't care about anything else but her friends. Suddenly, two dogs leapt onto her back, she was shocked. Her struggling to get the dogs off her back was only making them bite harder. She was starting to lose foucus, her vision was fuzzing and after two seconds, that semmed two hours to her, she collapsed to the ground. Her tail and ears droped lifelessly on the hrd eath. The dogs, thinking she was dead, ran off into the trees.
