"But I don't want to go my seperate way. I want to be your best friend forever."

"We have to go seperate ways sometime. Whether it's when going off to college to start our lives or now. It'll be easier now, while the bond is weaker. You'll still be my best friend, nothing will change that."

"I still don't understand why we have to go our seperate ways to begin with."

"Isn't that what you want?"

"No. It's the complete opposite of what I want."

"Well, you don't want me to get hurt. So the only way to solve that is go our seperate ways. We'd have to anyways in about half of a year."

"Why would we in half a year? We have been best friends for all of our lives college is just like going from elementary school to high school. We should be able to keep in touch and who knows we might even go to the same colloege and share the same dorm room."

"That's not the point." Derreck shrugged. "Even after college? We'd be on our own. It's very rare to stay with your grade school friend the rest of your life. We have to levae eachother some time. Might be easier if we do that now. After college, it's going to be harder."

Josh sighed and said "It will be hard but our friendship will not die, even after college, and we will see each other often. I know this and your life will not be normal again because you know about the supernatural and you have been stained with it too. Couldn't me and you be g*y together, so we don't split up Derreck? I can't live without you in my life. I never told you or anyone that before and I kept on denying it until now. Please. Our personalities are good together, are they not?"

Derreck shook his head. "It'll be hard. Why don't we just get web cams. We can keep in touch that way. But we can't be with eachother. It'll be harder."

"Why would it?"

"We tend to goof off, correct? Those memories, they will make it harder."

"Why couldn't we still goof off though? I think we still could."

"Yeah, if you want to die of depression when we go our ways." Derreck sighed. "You know what? I'll make it easier on you. I'll just go." Derreck turned and walked into Josh's car. He grabbed his bookbag and iPod and slipped his hoodie on. He put the hood up and muttered a "Bye." before walking away from wolf-Josh.
